Many years ago, I was taking pictures around the condo when I lived in L.A. A dark shape showed up in one of the photographs. As soon as I viewed the photograph, I picked up my digital recorder and started recording. I had only recently purchased the digital recorder and was still experimenting with it. When I played back the recording, a man with a very deep voice was saying that he was lost and needed help. This was the very first time I had recorded a voice and it disturbed me. I telephoned my mentor, a very gifted lady, immediately. As soon as I described what I had photographed, she instantly told me it was my neighbor. She told me that the gentleman in the unit next to mine had shot himself two weeks before and that he had come to me for assistance. I had never told her of this suicide and had not even told her about the EVP. She explained to me, in detail, what I needed to do to help this lost soul. I followed her instructions to the letter. The next day, I tried to listen to the EVP again, but that particular EVP and all the files I had saved on my digital recorder were completely gone. Once again, I called my mentor and before I could say a word, she told me that my neighbor had gone to the light and that my spirit guides had erased my digital recorder. She explained to me that because I was so disturbed by what I heard, my spirit guides had erased it. I have never been frightened by any EVP since that day.
