There are others, but I can't remember what they are. There was one on TV a couple years ago, History channel I think, that was an Eastern religion. The man was a leader of some kind, so when he died he was put on display. When people realized he wasn't decomposing they kept him on display instead of entombing him as planned, and he supposedly stayed on display for over a hundred years. I can't remember the religion they were, but I think it was Hindu or Buddist. I know he was cared for by monks, and they believed their god preserved him for some reason. I also remember he was dusted daily until they placed him in a glass coffin.

Is it only the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox faiths that seem to have these beliefs that incorruptible bodies that were not embalmed are the result of some paranormal or supernatural reasons? One night a few weeks ago I did spend some time viewing online photos and reading about these incorruptible bodies. From my reading, some of the bodies were touched up such as having a wax face mask placed on the body. From a scientific standpoint, I cannot explain why a body that is not embalmed would not decompose. This has nothing to do with a dry climate where many bodies become mummified. Are there other religions that share this phenomena? For reference. http://en.wikipedia....ncorruptibility
