Maybe not thought so much, because only people know what they think about. Perhaps, it's discussion that makes some uncomfortable. Which is fine, but there was no need for anyone to bring up Dawkins. And anyone who read that and was here for the last fiasco would know who they were talking about. My comments, and the response to them, only confirmed it.

It appears that as usual the wrong people are being warned. If you're in the right crowd, you can say whatever you want. If someone fails to agree with the crowd, they're being disrespectful. That's not fair, it's being a hypocrite. Think about it.

I'm not trying to derail the thread, frankly, it was derailed with the earlier comments, and since "certain people" are no longer here to defend themselves, it seems only fair that someone did.

I have no problem with discussion. It is when it devolves into personal attacks that I start to have issue. Maybe you are right and someone should not be brought up when they are no longer here, at their choosing let me remind you, to defend themselves.
But the person in question never gave most others "general consideration". He is not here for a reason. So, maybe the ones who have issue with the "way we run things" should think long and hard if they fit here at PUG. Just like I told the person in question, if you don't like it you can leave. I'll even give you the common courtesy to show you the door. I don't want anyone to have to leave, but if I feel that someone is a detriment to the forum as a whole, then so be it.
And BTW, I have no issue with what Gryph said, or even what Born Aware said, for the most part. You can take what you want from that.
