Hey! I emailed my credit card info and it came back as undeliverable. I'm pissed. I want to take the test. Does anyone have the correct address?

You might need to contact the home office in Nigeria. HEHE

One of my favorite urban legends is about the organ stealing (kidney) harvesters in Las Vegas that perform surgery on people in bathtubs and leave them there with a note to call 911. /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Noooooo you've exposed my tourist trap! Now nobody will want to come to Vegas!

Lol

And you could have it all, my empire of dirt

I will let you down, I will make you hurt

Yeah, you can't miss it. It is the one that has "EAT AT JOES", seared into it diagonally! /biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

Has anyone heard the one where a woman comes home to find her dog is choking to death and takes it to the hospital? If not, at the hospital the doctor pulls out a finger from the dogs throat, realizing there was a burglar in her house! When the police got there he was traped in the closet where he hid from the dog, he was missing one finger.

That is an old one, but when I was talking obout it with my sister and how it was an urban legend, my dad overheard and came over. He swore on his life that it wasn't an urban legend because that's what happened to his friend's sister. I never thought he was so gullible before…

Well, let’s see if you really want to start one? Urban legends need a basis of truth to set the hook. Since we are of the paranormal field I think we could come up with a legend dealing in that area.

Maybe something to do with ghost hunting rather than a wild story. Then see if it takes well enough to get one of the TV shows to pick up on it and use it?

Maybe something like the story of the old technique used to photograph ghosts from the early late 1800’s & 1900’s that no one seems to use anymore. During that time photography was relatively new and due to the time it took for a photo to be taken a lot of ghostly figures were captured in them. This was usually attributed to someone walking into frame and then walking out when realizing what they had done.

However, early experiments conducted by Dr. Carl Jorgensen, an eminent German Paranormal researcher at the time. Revealed that even when a camera was set in an empty room and monitored to make sure no one entered that they would still get a ghostly image of a person in places reported to be haunted. The theory being that it takes time to photograph a spirit.

No one uses this technique these days mostly because of instant photography and night shot being rage. However, if you have a good SLR camera with shutter speed settings you can slow the shutter speed to hold the aperture open for however long it is necessary. This works especially well in the dark without night vision. Very few people use this technique these days because it is time consuming but it does work.

Just an idea but maybe something to get the creative juices flowing. Remember, a little truth here and there to make it believable and you have to be real sure you want to do it. Once it is out there you can’t call it back. The next step is presentation. Where and when. Just telling your friends won’t do it. It will have to be put in many forums until some reputable publication or something like that picks up on it to give it credibility. Once credibility is established, the legend is born…

there was a news report some years ago regarding people who heard terrible squealing coming from a shed. after investigating they found a gentleman in the midst of being shall we say intimate with a pig; the report went on to say that it was not known if the pig was squealing from terror or delight….

i find this one scary because it forces you to want to poke out your mind's eye with the nearest sharp instrument. it's also true, as it happened in the town where we used to live. we also had a guy who got caught at the dump doing it with a corpse he had found.

it ain't all purty here in the finger lakes….

That happened here only it was at the community college,in the ag department, and it was a goat. He had a blue night gown and a cot he kept in there for the evenings he was amorous with the goat. It's true, it was all over the news at the time, and my daughter in law was going to school there at the time. sicko!

LOL! Funny and disgusting because stuff like this actually goes on. There was a two time offender just re-arrested for having his way with a horse. The woman set up a camera and caught him in the act. The owner of the horse says that the horse has been severely traumatized by the events.

My question is this: what if the horse came on to him first? /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

(Yes, I know that's terrible, but that's my mind. Welcome to it. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' /> /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> )

Seriously though, if it's pigs, goats, horses, or sheep, what the heck are people like this thinking? I will NEVER understand it!!

Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try.
