Well there have always been odd or even tasteless things on the ballots in the past or present.

I think there is already a proper website for these Denver sightings it called MUFON.com

I'm not sure what they are trying to accomplish and I know Denver and the area has many many military installations.

The UFO community is getting a lot of press on this but I do not think in any way it is the press this subject requires.

	Thanks for reading,

In Denver, UFO Sightings On The Ballot

"Some people see Tuesday's election as hard choices in hard times. But voters in Denver are encouraged to look at the stars. A ballot measure calls for the city to accept reports of UFO sightings -- and publish them on the city website. The sponsor thinks the government is hiding what it knows about aliens."

The only thing I found interesting at National Public Radio and I work in radio but here is the direct link-

Denver UFO Ballot Sightings – Denver’s Initiative 300 Calls for UFO Commission

One of Denver’s ballot measures is about UFO sightings! The Denver ballot, Initiative 300, calls for the formation of a commission to investigate UFO sightings. If passed, Area-51 UFO A.E.-341.15Bthis new branch will be called Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission and will force Denver city to have a link on its official website for people who wish to report UFO sightings. Wackadoodle? Perhaps but the fact is that some people, including astrophysicist Stephen Hawking, genuinely believe in aliens.

The Denver UFO ballot was sponsored by Jeff Peckman, who believes there is a huge government conspiracy covering up and withholding any information they have about UFO sightings.

Speaking about the Denver UFO ballot, Peckman said, “The reason it’s important is that this needs to start somewhere. It’s not starting anywhere, at the federal level or state level or any other level of government. In this country we believe this could very well be a citizen’s task.”

So what’s the next step for the Denver UFO ballot? We all wait to see if the measure passes and if it does, Denver will be the first city to have UFO sightings reports displayed on their official city website. Can you hear Colorado residents holding their breath? Surely not all residents want the honor of being the first state to admit UFO sightings may be real.

What do you think about the Denver UFO ballot? Do you believe in UFO sightings or do you think it’s all bullpucky?

	Again the direct link-

I think there are many sightings. How could so many people see something, and not have there be something to it. It could be our government, who knows.

Putting them on a website though, doesn't mean the events will have a proper investigation.

Maybe other than having a website, I'm missing the point of voting.
