Looks do mean a lot. Regardless. I wouldn't want a Doctor with greasy hair and dirty fingernails coming in and examining me. (if you knowwhat I mean) So if a person wants to be taken seriously about anything the way they look does matter. I mean I want my clowns to have floppy shoes, wild hair and a red nose. But the guy trying to convince me that everything great that was invented by mankind was realy done by aliens from another world should not be wearing the aforementioned items.

Now I hope there isn't a planet out there inhabited by clowns because if there is I am in deep doo-doo when they get here.

You know, when I saw the guy with the freaky hair, I thought of that age old saying...you only get one chance to make a first impression and when you're in a field like this, why would you present yourself that way if you want to be taken seriousily? Unfortunately most of us (myself included) aren't that evolved and have a hard time getting over "the look" to hear "the message". I'm not saying it's right, because it isn't, but just saying that if you're in a controversial field like this, you may want to tone down the act a little...imho.

Also I am not puting someone down for their opinion, I have problems with people saying they do scientific research or are scientis but refuse to look at or consider any evidence that does not fit their theory(ies).

There's a theory that the nazca designs were meant to be walked in meditation or ceremonially, like a labyrinth. Sort of like in the story linked above.

Very true. I have opinions about our country's economy but I am far from being an economist. The ancient Nazca Lines in Peru have always been intriguing to me. Why would anyone want to make all of those giant geoglyphs? The only reason that I can think of is to be seen from above.

But I keep seeing this same wierd looking guy, forget his name, its seems to be a Greek name though, you know the guy, with his hair sticking up all over the place with a scruffy beard, spouting that everything great that happened in out history is only attributed to aliens visiting us.

I have problems in general with all these alien/UFO/we've been visited shows. To me, in my opinion, all these shows are just re-hashing the same subjects over and over again. I can't tell you how many Area 51 shows I've seen. Or all the visitation shows. There really is nothing new being said, told or shown. The same interviewee's show up on all these shows and spout the same lines over and over again. "Oh look, there's a stone carving with what looks like someone wearing a space helmet! We were visited by aliens! Why else would that look like a space helmet?"

For people who call themselves 'scientists' they really don't look at things objectivly.

I was intrigued, so much so I ordered the book Chariots of the Gods. Hope it knocks my socks off as well.

Just a heads up for those interested, this show premiers tonight. This episode covers evidence for ancient flying machines including Egypt's Saqqara Bird, and India's vimanas.
