Ok, the property owner is putting together ideas for the Saturday Gathering and of course there will be investigations over the weekend available for some. Also for those who wish I can walk you around the property and explain some of the hot spots, burial sites, etc. and explain why I think they are hot spots. The home owner will give some history and of course the ghost stories of the last 30 years that continue to this day. She and I will post updates as they come available. Should anyone want to set up a vendor table please let me know. This year it will be a little longer so people can get better acquainted and hopefull the rain will hold off. LOL Looking forward to seeing those who can make it. Here are a few photos to stimulate your imagination of how it may have looked back in the Civil War... (without the tents and porta pottie of course. lol)

Hi everyone. Still working in this years gathering.

In the mean time the Historic Hotel Bethlehem is having their annual Haunted Weekend this March 30, 31 and Apr 1. The schedule is posted on Facebook in the posts and photo albums for anyone on the east coast that might be interested. This is the hotel we have been examining for the past 2 years. The property has a colorful history dating back to 1741 with many stories and even a ghost story that was posted in the newspaper in the 1700's. We will talk about that at the event among many other things. It will be an interesting weekend.
Anyone wants any details you can go to the FB page below or just post the question here.

For the 2012 Haunted weekend the Hotel was able to offer some extra exclusive tours that either are only offered during the month of October (History & Haunts Tour with the Moravian Bookstore)....and exclusive only for guests of the GhostBreakers Weekend...the night tour of The Industrial Quarter...

learn about some of the strange deaths...and spirits that still occupy some of our country's oldest buildings.

The price of $349 is for two guests...for two nights. It also includes all seminars, breakfast for two on Saturday and Musical Sunday Brunch for two. It also includes the Moravian Bookstore's History & Haunts Tour (available usually only in October) for two and a tour of the Industrial Quarter located behind the hotel...for two guests. The package also includes all taxes and gratuities. You may call 610.625.5000 for more information and reservations.

Not to mention 2 nights of Ghost Hunting and roaming the historic hotel & town in your spare time also. The town started in 1741 right where you will be and there is a weird connection with the property, the Hope Diamond and the GhostBreakers. It will be explained at the event but we wonder if it is karma or kismet...

The property owner has agreed to set up vendor tables for this years Meet & Greet...

GETTYSBURG PARANORMAL GATHERING – July 20 – 22, 2012

MEET & GREET - Sat July 21, Noon – 4pm

Hey... VENDORS WELCOME!!!! Do you, your business, or your group have something to sell (equipment, books, etc.) or promote to the paranormal community?? Here’s a great opportunity for you to do just that!
For just $25 you can have a space at the Meet & Greet! A table and chairs will be provided and the area will be tented.
Also, if you have any special events planned for that weekend, we will promote them on the Gathering’s pages!
If interested, please send me a message or post on this page and we will be in touch to discuss details and answer questions.

Mark Nesbitt (Ghosts of Gettysburg Book Series) has confirmed that he WILL be at the Meet & Greet on Saturday July 21st!!! His newest book is scheduled to be released in early July so this could be a great opportunity to get your autographed copy hot off the presses!!!

Hopefully the rain will hold off this year. We will walk people around this year if they like and answer questions instead of just leaving people to wander aimlessly. The M&G is only 4 hours to allow the homeowner time to get ready for those who book investigations.

For those who weren't there last year, this is free gathering for people to meet others in the paranormal community and socialize for a few hours on a haunted Gettysburg Farm that is an officially designated historical confederate hospital after the battle.

Here are a couple little teasers...

When "The National Cemetery in Gettysburg " got people to begin to dig up the soldiers killed to inter them in the cemetery the people were told to leave the confederates and only gather the union soldiers for reburial. Now being a hospital where many soldiers didn't survive they had to bury them on site as they couldn't transport the dead all the way back south.
So it is most likely that this property is littered with confederate dead that never returned home. Some say this is the reason for the activity. The home owner is still in negotiations to have ground penetrating radar look for graves. However, it isn't cheap so we are still waiting on that.

One last bit of info is, the home owner is on their way to California to tape their portion of an episode for "My Ghost Story". Then the production company will be coming to the farm to film there. The home owner is going to suggest they film during the meet & greet but I don't want to get anyones hopes up. Production companies have schedules so it is a slim chance but if it happens people may get to watch.

I will keep everyone posted her and FB. Hope to see some of you there!!!!!
