It sounds silly, but I never, ever considered that we didn't have souls. I blogged about it. What do you think?

Great question ! Up front let me state that I do believe in the soul. Research has been done actually weighing people before and after death.

The difference in these two weights at one time were thought to be the weight of the soul. If I remeber the story I heard about the research the location of the soul was thought to be located at the base of the neck. I personally would have to put a vote in for the center of the brain. I mean it seems the most likely place?

The fact that it was a forgone conclusion ,on your part, as to the existence of the soul could mean that the

answer was so obvious to your sub conscious that it was filed away as a no brainer. Pardon the pun if that turns out to be the actual location of the soul. The angle of believing oneself to have a soul would certainly disable a whole wagon full of skepticism in one way or another. At this point in admitting that I believe I have a soul it should be said that I am glad that there is no proof one way or the other as to the existence of a soul can be proven. Who would want the bad news that something ethereal doesn't reside within us?

Advance a coherent thesis statement as to what constitutes a soul, its properties and mechanics, and we can begin.

It must be quite poorly written – my blog. Because I wasn't actually agreeing with what he did. I was pointing out how flawed the experiment was.

When I said it needed no commentary, I guess I was incorrect. It was about having a foregone conclusion and then massaging the data to support it. I thought the silliness of the conclusions spoke for themselves. Guess not. I have clarified here.

I think my soul has gained a few pounds lately. Yeah, that's it! My soul is fat; I'm fine. Stupid soul needs a diet and a bit more exercise.

My Dog is undergoing Chemo for Lymphoma. She's in her 4th and (hopefully) final round of treatment. She's been singing a lot of Muddy Waters lately, so I'm pretty sure she has soul, if not a soul.
