I see some of you are a little perturbed at the fact that I support some of the faith based posters in these forums. I am sorry for that if you are offended. But I will continue to support those individuals on that.

I see that some of the posters have certain questions that in FACT pertain to religion and I will continue to answer those question to the best of my ability.

I Often refer to books used in the Jewish and Christian Faith. I am not challenging any ones intelligence on the matters but just suggesting that those certain books can clear up a lot of answers to certain individuals looking for for them.

I do not suggest that anyone reading these posts join in my faith or beliefs.

I myself however will stand to my beliefs and not be detoured from them or here for my primary goal here is the study of the So-called Paranormal. I think we can agree on that.

So again I am not pointing at anyone and if your feelings are hurt or you do not like the idea that I believe in something that you personally do not believe, Sorry about that.

Well, I don't know if you were thinking that I was upset. So, not sure if it was directed at me.

Anyway, I'm not perturbed or upset by anyone's beliefs, or what they support.

People have differing opinions, and belief systems, and I think that's nothing to apologize for.

Differing views make us as individuals unique.

Actually, I think it's expected here as all opinions and view points are welcomed here. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Topics will be debated, which doesn't mean anyone is upset.

Yep – we welcome all beliefs here. We may not always agree, but it doesn't mean we can't debate respectfully.

The only thing that really bothers me about posts around here is not placing them in the right threads. But I must confess, that bullying and name calling don't rate high up on my list either!

good to hear and thanks for the replies, I hate to see a specific topic get mucked up because something didn't pass someones belief or advice. Usually when I see someone asking it I try to help where I can. If certain questions may have a faith based theme, well I try to give a faith based answer.

In this field I don't think that all answers or questions for that matter are completely Scientific in nature especially since your average scientist will have nothing to do with it. To them we die and its done regardless of what we present to them of a quazi afterlife. Since the beginning of written words the afterlife has been documented in many ways but for the most part strictly in a faith based manner. Which faith varies but alway faith based.

Since this is what I myself am trying to explore and define in a scientific manner it would only make since to me to have faith based tools to work with as a base.

As Missing K said, unless there is something else going on behind the scenes, I don't know who would be upset. Now, if YOU are upset because there are people with different beliefs challenging you, that's another story.

Just because someone disagrees with a belief does not mean that they are offended. Beliefs should be able to stand up to challenge, if not, then why have them?

Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try.

That which is unchallenged and exercised as habit rapidly becomes ritual.

When this occurs, dissent becomes an object of surprise, if not resentment.
