I did a post yesterday about residual hauntings, and I'm wondering if the argument that residual hauntings are not valid ties in somehow with this experiment. It all boils down to the physics of wave/matter interaction- different "waves" treat different matter differently(sorry for the redundancy). Clearly this study showed some insight on the type of transmission that can be produced by the human brain wave. The energy transmitted by this individuals brain was capable of traveling long distances- so we can assume that this type of wave treats a lot of matter as transparent, which could explain stories of individuals thinking something and another individual very far away receiving that message. SympathyfortheDevil said "could they travel faster than the speed of light?". Not only does this appear possible, but from this experiment it appears they are a very different than light or sound waves, which both have their limitations against solid, semi-solid and even semi-translucent matter. Perhaps brain waves are more on the level of radio waves or other electromagnetic waves.

Now you also said you did and experiment involving an EEG machine attached to the brain of someone with a Psi ability, then the EEG attached to various parts of another persons body. Were these two individuals right next to each other? Did you try separating them with a partition? Or even further, partitions made of different material? (Cardboard vs. Solid wood for example) It might be futile, but it could be just another level of evidence of trying to figure out the types of matter brain waves treat as transparent.

Also- what does this mean for the impedance gel? Person A's brainwaves caused it to break down- how could the brainwave travel such a distance through so much solid matter only to breakdown a semi-solid substance?

It is my personal opinion based on the above test and other's that I have done and/or witnessed that "Thought" is faster then light. My term is, THOUGHT is so fast it just "is".

Basically ... the EEG attached to another person's various parts of the body was to show how Person A - 'linked' and it seemed that A could indeed connect via thought. It was also validate A could have a "cause/effect" via A's thoughts with the person.

No we did not move the person around, we already have numerious reports that A could/can "link/connect" and have a very real phyical 'cause/effect' all over the world with individual bodies.

Well based on our experiments we are convinced that thought is faster then light....

In fact we've used your line - Thought is so fast .. it just "is".

The group I am working with believe that Objective/Authentic Psi is genetic ... much like people that have art talent - music talent and such. It's in their genetic make up.

Can it be taught? Honestly I think the jury is still out on that one.

I've seen people that try to 'sell' this belief - but I've yet to see objective substantiated proof offered, that could not be explained and proven as psychology and/or science physics being passed off as "psi" ... like the so called "psi wheel" - aka - Pin Wheel and Thermodynamics ... or those so called psi abilities that where you take away the audio / visual clues .. then their so called Psi goes seriously "sour"...

Realizing brain waves can be measured, I've wondered for a long time, can brain waves travel?

This will probably will sound nuts, but I can't help wondering if brain waves could travel, could they travel faster than the speed of light.

If possible, then peoples thoughts would enter into the past, and reverse time where you are and could enter into your mind.

This would be viewed as seeing the future, but really seeing the past.

I'm not at all sold on this idea, but can't help thinking there is some scientific explanation involved.

While some group thought is, some of these types of people are gifted, I think not.

I suspect, the gifted are just more in tune with their minds and bodies.

If psi ability truly exists, I think anyone would have the potential to tap into it. It may be a skill, that has to be taught or mastered by some.

The big question for me is how and why.

A. Nothing would happen. (Highest Expectation.)

B. There would be a "bob" on the EEG paper. (Low expectation.)

But that fact that the gel 'broke down' was just not even in the realm of expectation.

Now ---> should I tell you about the EEG experiment where "A" had an EEG machine attached to their brain and then EEG attached at various points on another person body and we measured A's active brain waves on the EEG attached to the other person's various body locations? /wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> . o O ( maybe another time )

This is an incredible experiment. I must say, my brain is spinning with a thousand of thoughts on what this means. While psychokinesis is such an abstract barely understood science in itself, this has shown at least some evidence that (some) peoples minds can not only transmit thoughts across miles, but also activity- but the result of what was effected is remarkable. The actual breakdown of a substance rather than the disruption of an electric current. But why the breakdown of the gel? To me, there is obviously a physical transference taking place(just as most things travel in invisible waves- the mind must send out information in similar patterns that just aren't traceable to us...yet). If that is an accurate assumption, then what exactly is the mind emitting that it has the ability to break down a gel? And since the electrolyte gel used with EEG's isn't the toughest of materials, what is the toughest substance that the mind could potentially break down??

As silly as this sounds- you need to start putting a pudding snack pack in that room to see if Person A can break that down as well.

A. "A" knew the location of the building and the location of the room ... Google Earth and .. because "A" "linked" with a person in the room the first time to know where to focus thoughts. NO person was in the room during the tests .. also there was an identical set up in the room next to it .. that had no 'cause/effect' ... the EEG just "hummed along".

B. "A" was just focusing his thoughts on the room.

C. We wanted to see if "A" could "link" with the EEG machine via the tube of impedence gel and thus .. well see. "A" basically just tried to 'link' thoughts like they do when they link with thought wise with humans.

Now again the reason for the test .... "A" can link with people thought wise and well .. that is another 'story' so to speak. So the idea was to see if there was a way of measuring "A" thoughts to .. well ... 'see'.

We actually expected the EEG to maybe and I emphasise "MAYBE" cause a spike or movement in the EEG ... but what happened was just totally not expected with the cause/effect of the break down of the impedence gel. That came out of LEFT FIELD and was simply not expected .. period.

Did Person A ever see this room in person, or a picture of the room? When Person A thought of the room, were they thinking of the room as it actually looks in a very specific manner or were they just thinking of the room as it was described to them in a very general way? I guess I'm asking, because I'm trying to understand if Person A was actively trying to use remote viewing.

Okay - SCI-FI 101. True Case:

I am open to brain storms here. We've documented this now for a year ... Yes a year done several times a week, over a year at different times during the day and night.

Here is what we know ...

Person "A". Lives 3,000 miles away from the "Target" - A sleep study hospital in Greater New York.

The sleep room is well shielded.

What happens - There is an EEG machine in the sleep room - (shielded) - with the probes attached to the ends of a plastic tube with Electrolyte Impedance Jell in it.

What the test was thought to do and/or see is if Person "A" could 'spike' the EEG machine with their thoughts. (Simple enough huh?) Either "A" would "spike" or "A" would not spike the EEG machine. We expected .. Well to be honest, nothing.

Yes there is a background, history of person "A" that suggested this test ... But again .. It was more to see if something would happen to the EEG machine ... But ....

What we got was unexpected:

"A" shorted out the Electrolyte Impedance Jell ... Yea, "A" caused it to break down. This simply was not what was even remotely expected to happen.

"A" would type "NO" when "A" would do nothing and "ON" when he would focus thought on the room. Each time "ON" it would break down the Jell .. Each time "NO" .. Nothing would happen at all.

Now the thing that was noted: Each time "ON" was seen on the screen the .. Jell actually 'broke down' a few seconds before the "ON" showed up on the screen.

Now in New York they would run tests when "A" was not online for 4 - 8 hours straight and nothing happened at all. Nada. No spikes, no jell break down, nada.

The Jell would only break down when "A" focused "A's" thoughts on the Sleep room. This was witnessed by 12 tech and 4+ doctor's. They were brought in when there was simply no answer. The best answers the doctor's would/could give is, they ".. Would not have believed it if they had not seen it." It did take a bit of time to convience them this was no joke ...

Now they tried this with people the at the Sleep Study Hospital and nothing happened. They tried it with people on-line like person "A" and again nothing happened.

This only happened with person "A". (So far. Even people that claimed to be able to do what "A" does, were not able to create this cause/effect and not for lack of trying and no small emotional 'fall out' when it was shown that they had no cause/effect.)

Now there are other thing that person "A" is noted to be able to do, for which right now I will not cloud the post with.

So thoughts?

Again, this is not what we expected to have happened .. In fact based on the feed back, this just should not have happened.

What we are looking at is dynamics at play - physics or what ever you wish to throw out there ....
