Here are a few links to test psychic abilities, including ESP, psychokinesis and remote viewing.

http://www.gotpsi.org/html/gotpsi.htm

http://www.noetic.org/research/psi.cfm

Let us know:

How did you do?

Were you strong in one area?

How does this stack up against your life experiences?

Were there any surprises?

Do you believe your results?

NW, I took the tests, and scored average on all of them except for the remote viewing. On those, strangely I scored an average of 73%. I never got a picture right, but it seems I was higher than average on getting the particulars (shapes, textures, ect.). All I did was keep close to the median (the middle) when clicking the radio buttons to describe what I thought the picture was. Are the tests skewed to give these results, or did I actually "hit the nail on the head"? I'd better come up with an answer soon because there's a black SUV with tinted windows and government plates sitting outside my house. It's been there since I took the tests. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' /> Seriously, I think the way the test is designed is slightly flawed. By keeping to the Median when making your selections, it seems possible to achieve a higher than average test score. Just my thoughts.

Archaeology is the peeping Tom of the sciences. It is the sandbox of men who care not where they are going; they merely want to know where everyone else has been.- Jim Bishop

Yeah = I score average, too. There is one test in the Noetic sciences I do well at that they also used to have on the psi tests – where all you do is sit and think to make something move in one direction. I always do well at that one, and above average at "making" pictures appear when you flip over cards – I do well at that, too.

Good point about the RV test – I thought that myself. I suck at the quick RV test and score high on the other one. I'm not sure that these tests really test anything – which is why I wanted others to try them. I'd love to have someone that I've seen use demonstrable psychic abilities take it. Maybe I'll get in contact with her and ask.

I didn't take the tests, but have a prediction. I get this overwhelming feeling that I'm going to be one of the few dire skeptics on this board.

Actually, I love your skepticism, Dawkins. All opinions are welcome here.

I can get along with pretty much anyone save White Sox fans. Don't get me started on them . . .

Oh yeah … Dawkins did a great job as our Skeptic in the April issue's Roundtable on spirit communications. Check it out everyone! It's in the e-Magazine forum.

Nope. Not speaking for Sinnie – but I do know that she has a real skeptical bent to her, that girl. I'm guessing she wants you around because she enjoys your viewpoint!

Well good, because I'm gonna make my viewpoint perhaps painfully obvious around here.
