My best friend and I have always had those moments when we say or do things at the same time, as most close friends do. However, this would happen maybe once or twice a month I would say. Nothing had changed, but all of a sudden, we would say, think, or do the same thing at the same time ALL THE TIME! I kid you not, it would happen four or five times an hour, whether we were together, or not. We'd be on MSN and both type the exact same thing at the exact same time. Or I would get up and come back at the exact moment she sent me a new message. Or I'd think something and then later be talking to her and tell her about the thought I had and she would say, "I thought the exact same thing earlier." Now, if it were anyone else, I would think they were just saying this to freak me out or whatever, but I know her and trust her. Things like this just keep happening to us, more and more every day. And it doesn't just happen between the two of us anymore, so it's not just because we're close. This has happened between her and her dad, her and my mother, who she doesn't know well at all, me and my mother, me and my brother, me and a random stranger, etc. Or we'll both be eating together and pick up our drinks at the same time, and put them down at the same time, only realizing we were doing it as we set down our cups.

I really believe this is telepathy, because it has just gone way beyond any kind of coincidence I have ever experienced. Now, I should also mention that I am a sensitive and my friend is an empath. I can sense, hear, and see spirits and communicate with them, and she can pick up on other people's emotions, even if she doesn't know that person at all. Well, at first it seemed to be only me doing the "mindreading" and freaking her out. Then it started happening to her. Like I said, she's an empath. Well, recently I've found myself feeling other people's emotions, and it's really got me off balance. I feel them really strongly, and sometimes it has been hard to differentiate someone else's emotions from my own. Anyway, we seem to be sort of rubbing off on each other, and developing each others abilities. But, I just wanted to get some other opinions on this. Do you think this is telepathy or coincidence? And does anyone know if it's possible for abilities to "rub off" like this?

Well – I believe that we are all connected. Maybe we just don't recognize it at first. Spending time with someone, that connection comes to the forefront of your awareness. My husband (TheJybian) and I do the same thing. I think that as your awareness of a connection with someone increases, then you notice more and more that you share thoughts, ideas and actions. I think you are equally connected to everyone else – but you just don't have the impetus to be aware that you are. Just my theory, of course.

Definitely think telepathy is possible. I've experienced it too many times to think otherwise.
