Hey Lee! Thanks for the invite to stay with you, but you don't have to worry about us. When we travel, even in the States, we look for the places (hotels, inns, bed and breakfasts) that have a rich history and a good ghost story so I can write about it. We'll be sure to visit with you though, and possibly do an investigation together aside from helping you return to the Pub. We have some friends north of London, too...but I can't remember the name of their town. They moved there a year or so ago from here because her husband was stationed there in the military. We also have a few friends in Reading that we need to visit. We'll be busy visitors in the UK!!! Looking forward to it though.

I wonder if your abilities are similar to mine in that you can "see" the past in that spot, and also pick up on the energetic/electric feelings and emotion. Along the lines of an empath. In some areas, actually a couple were in England, if I walk into them and there was a large amount of death/illness in the past, I am immediately sprung with the sweats, nausea, a very sharp headache in my temple (left to be precise) and it feels like my stomach sinks. It's the oddest feeling, and it can't even be described properly. Only someone else with the same abilities and experiences would be able to understand.

I never got the chance to find out, i was only a Junior at this back then, i hadnt even understood the gift i was told i always had, but even if i had the chance to go back, i can honestly say that i dont think i would, it was very upsetting.

Anyway, we decided that after we had a drink, we would go into her mums house an watch a movie, we left the pub, now, you need to understand that my friend was not into ghosts at all, neither was his girl or mine, we went into the house and put a movie on, i put my car keys on the floor, after about 30 mins something came over me, i stood straight up picked my keys up and said to my buddy, " come on, were going", he looked at me, and asked why, i told him i just felt ill, i walked to the back door of the house, i felt as if i didnt get out of that house that i was going to die, seriously, i had tears in my eyes, i felt as if i was going to be sick, the next thing i knew, by buddy is practicaly climbing over me to get out the door, infact we both couldnt get the door open fast enough, the girls followed us, we left the house wide open, we got in my car and drove, we drove 2 or three miles and stopped, it was quite funny looking back because during that whole tim driving, no one, and i mean no one, said a word, when we stopped my buddy looked at me and asked me what was all that about, im shaking, we were ALL distraught.

It wasnt until we stopped that ny feelings of illness went away.

We agreed that we would go back as there was no one in the house, when we got about 500 yards away from the house i started to feel ill again, but i said nothing, i never went into that house again.

Me and my friend only spoke about it a couple of times, it was just something that we didnt touch base on.

Anyway, the next day i decided to go to our local Library, i looked for a booked on local history.

I couldnt believe what i found, but first, here are some pics of the pub.

If you look right through the passage way, it passes through the car park at the rear, then the line as im calling it would go through the housen at the end of the car park.

Back to what i found, well, it turns out that during the Black Death in the 1600's, beverley was surrounded bu a city wall for protection, now the monks of Beverley had the nasty job of carrying the dead victims of the plague to the mass burial pitts under what is now the train station, heres the thing, they carried them through that passageway, out of the rear, along the path which happens to run straight through the waht is now the town house living room were we were watch the movie.

Was i feeling the energies of those poor people who suffered, i dont know, but that was one of the turning points in my attitude towards the Paranormal.
