In that same house, my ex saw a woman's head float past the kitchen window while she was doing the dishes. There was snow on the ground outside, and not one footprint near the kitchen window. Needless to say, they moved out of the house soon after that.

It must have been very hard for you when your friend was killed. It just might have been him letting you know he was OK.

Glad you enjoyed it. Seeing that girl (I still think I would recognize if I saw her) sure made the hair on my neck stand up.

Unfortunately, that was the only incident related to Phil, and I'm not even saying it was related to him. My wife suggested that, and I admit it's an intriguing idea.

Phil was killed 42 years ago. Hopefully, he found peace way back then.

My Grandmother passed away when I was in my teens. We were close, but I could not be there.

A bird hit my window around 1 am in the morning, then the phone rang and my mom told me my grandmother passed.

The bird died from hitting the window. I think, it was my Grandma's way of saying she was gone, to me.

Unfortunately, that was the only incident related to Phil, and I'm not even saying it was related to him. My wife suggested that, and I admit it's an intriguing idea.

These were definitely knocks. 3 firm knocks. Remember, the second time I was leaning on the door so it could not have simply rattled or banged with air movement. Besides, due to fire codes, a door from a house to a garage is required to be fire resistant, which means, heavy, solid, and well fitted.

As I noted in the story, I can come up with reasonable alternative explanations for my experiences, except this one. I would not be against hearing a possible explanation, however. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I can't think of a possible way one could exit your garage so quickly without being detected by you.

Once we had a house, that the laundry room door had movement in it. It happened when it was very windy outside, and created movement in the garage doors. The air got in the garage, and caused the closed laundry room door to have some movement and noise. But, it never sounded like a knock.

I thought that perhaps I might get a discussion going if I shared my own personal experience. Actually, I've had several, but you know how it is - there are always alternative explanations.
