T, that is a new perspective on "behind you!" And you are right, it did seem like someone sat in the chair and purposefully turned around in it to face the computer screen more than just touching the chair and moving it. The fact that it was so blatant and "in my face" really shocked me.

Aside from EVP, I like the camera idea.

Re reading this thread and have some to add:

Behind you is a phrase that I use on pretty much a daily basis! In my younger days I worked alot in bars and restaurants. We also used it in stage productions when I was in college when moving sets, etc. Wade and I use it when we work together when moving ladders, tools, etc. Both of us are ready for second cataract surgeries and fairly vision impaired, me on the left side and he on the right. I say that all the time so that I don't surprise him coming from his "blind side". Now, if I could only get him to do the same!

Maybe the chair incident wasn't so much someone moving the chair as someone sitting in the chair and turning it to the desk... was my first thought when I read this thread.

I'm thinking you should do EVP, and maybe set up static cameras. Maybe when no one is home.

Nothing new to report. I'd still like to make time for an EVP session though.

Chefs, and the people they designate, are the only ones allowed to touch knives, whether they are being used or cleaned.

I agree with Cali Girl about the "behind you", this is very common to use with horses, just as common as saying excuse me, or please watch out.

Horse person manners, so to speak, we use the phrase a lot.

Maybe there was a livery stable on or near your property in the past.

That's really interesting stuff. I can't wait to hear more. Have you kept a diary of sorts of what happened and when? There may be a correlation. You could also find out when your home was built, what was there before it. It would shed some light, perhaps, if you found that there was a restaurant on the site. Maybe it was a previous owner.

Now to be fair, are you actually giving it a chance to sit there, or are you hoging it lol!
