Alright, i'm a big fan of ghosts and ghost investigating,

while I was visiting my brother and his girlfriend in north Carolina we

went to a haunted grave yard, it's called ….(gotta look it up lol can't remember)

and I decided to take pictures while we were there on my iPhone, it was daytime

out since that's the only part of the day they have the gates Open to the public, and…

Weeks later I looked at the photos I took and examined each one.

One of them had what appears to be a mans figure or maybe two?? I'm not sure

but my boyfriend says I'm crazy and that it's just a tree. Let me know what you think!

Thanks!!

to embed a pic on the forum, you must host it at a site like photobucket and copy the img code and paste it here. If you have a photobucket account, then every time you upload an image one of the links listed under the share box uses img code. just copy and past it.

best of luck,

Andy

Hello there, I had a post I made a couple weeks ago through my iphone and I couldn't place the picture on this forum, but now I have my computer set up so I can finally put that out there.. anyways.

I went to see my brother and his girlfriend with my boyfriend back in November and we went to the GoldsBoro Cemetery up in North Carolina that was known for people hearing and seeing strange things, and me being so fascinated with spirits, I had to go!

Well anyway, while we were there I began to take pictures, and I figured I wouldn't catch anything since it was on a low quality iphone and it was daytime, but in this picture it looks like I captured something.. if captured is the right word. /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' /> My boyfriend says its just the trees, but maybe someone can help me out with this one?

I circled it with Paint, it looks like someone standing, but then it looks like another person to the right, the left one has a hand sticking out the side of the gravestone.

Just realized I put this in the wrong topic! Sorry about that, if it can be placed in the right one that'd be great. Thanks /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

I merged the two threads for you.

I can't make out much in the photo. Thanks for circling it so we can see the area in question. From what I can tell it does look like a tree back there is making an arm and the foliage is creating the face. I do think it might be a case of matrixing to be honest. I've seen a lot of pictures like this taken in cemeteries. I've taken plenty myself. I believe the atmosphere of being in a cemetery makes us want to look for ghosts or the spirits of the departed and the brain naturally wants to make sense of the unorganized material we see.

One technique that investigators do when taking pictures is take two or three at one time from the same place and then some more from another angle. Taking the same picture from different times of the day is good also. It allows more of a baseline for what is in the area naturally and what isn't.

Keep it up and if you get anything else let us know.

Actually it looks very natural, from a part of a tree in the background – to part of the roof line – to another fixture in background.

The thing is – we would need to go back and take the same picture at the same location and see if it's still there. I have a feeling it would be … then take a circular picture to put together the background to see exactly what 'is what'.

At best this picture is inconclusive …

Outdoor pictures are tough, because you get elements of nature, variegations in concrete, stone, etc., and odd lighting/shadowing effects. I see what you are talking about, but my guess is that it looks like natural elements that come together to form a recognizable pattern, so the mind just fills in the rest. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Yup, this is what I think, also.

Going back like JJB suggested may clear this up for you.
