Thanks, I thought it was worth sharing. No formal investigation has been done and I doubt there ever will b/c of his 'image.' He's an Assistant Pastor.

Anyway, I feel it's something special about him and independent of where he may or may not reside. We've all heard the theory of people being haunted rather than places and with all the evidence and experiences involving Bud, I feel this may be an opportunity to peer into his families past for some possible answers.

After brainstorming with another close friend of mine, we came across a few things worth noting…

It turns out that I have another friend who we grew up with experiencing PN activity. Well, we may have found a connection between his and Bud's experiences. Turns out that Bud's grandpa and this dude's grandpa died of drowning(one trying to save the other)

Both report most of the same childhood experiences, voices, poltergeist etc.

Of course this may have no relation to the actual source of the problem, but it's interesting and may lead us to more answers.

Wow, both grandfathers drowning is very tragic. I also wonder if the activity might be related.

And thanks Cperkins for sharing your photos. They are very interesting!

Yes, very tragic. It's probably grasping at straws to attribute the activity to this event, but still a weird coincidence nonetheless.

Edit: I ask all of you writers to have pity on my grammar, Its a little rusty and never was that greasy.

What type of camera were you using, and also were you using the flash?

I see a lot of pictures like this from digital cameras while using no flash. Not saying that is what is going on, only that is my experiences with similar pics. Insufficient lighting will cause the shutter to stay open longer. I'm not exactly sure why this happens, but it may have to do with the camera letting in more light. I do know when you take photos with long exposure times such as this, you should mount the camera on a tripod. This is due to the fact that even when we think we are being still when taking photos with no flash, that we tend to move, creating a blurred photo. Most times mounting the camera on a tripod prevents this, though I am sure there are instances of blur even while using a tripod.

Also, some of the lights could be bugs, which move so fast through frame that the computer can't make out what they are, thus the long lines of light. Once again, not saying that is what it is.

Nonetheless, interesting photos. I can't wait to see more more. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

With all due respect, they are not bugs. I have taken hundreds of thousands of photographs outside at night on the battlefield and bugs do not photograph like those ribbons of light energy. In that first shot with the Corps. marker, there is nothing back there to even cause a reflection to bounce off of.

Right, that's why I didn't say that is what caused the photos. I was just relaying my own personal experience with photos I had personally taken or had seen from others, which were proven to be bugs, slow shutter speed, etc. I am all about the personal experience so anything is possible. Just thought I'd offer my humble opinion. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Sithy,

To respond to your questions, I was using a digital camera with a night setting…..but the unexplainable part is I have some shots of the fireworks that look exactly like what you would think fireworks look like and then I have these shots that have all of the activity in them. I will gladly post some of the other shots so you can compare if you would like.

I don't doubt that we had presence there with us cause you just had a feeling that someone else was close to you and it wasn't just my wife. /huh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

All,

Also on the Saturday nigth that we were there Carolyn let us go into the office (which they have had many experiences in) and let us take some pictures and to try and capture some EVPS. I was taking shots with a digital camera (that had a full battery) and about a half dozen pictures in….my camera just went dead and froze completely. I could not turn it off and there were weird icons on the screen that I had never seen before. I could get it to do nothing at all, I ended up walking into another room asking "whoever" did this to please at least let me shut the camera down. I had to finally take the battery out, wait a couple secs and then put it back in..upon doing that I was able to shut the camera down. If I tried to turn it on, the screen would blink…battery empty. After getting home and charging the camera and developing the film, the last couple shots I was able to take there seems to be a misty form coming to me….was it trying to manifest and zapped my battery in the process????? That is my thoughts. After all this happened we walked into the back part of the office and I left my EVP recorder in the breakfast nook (where all the above happened) after listening to the recording we heard what sounded like something 'tinking' against glass…there is no glass in that room.

Also later that night as my wife and I were getting ready to call it a night, we had climbed in bed and had been laying there for a little bit when my wife leans over to me and said….did you hear that big boom?? I heard nothing, could it have been the echo from a cannon years ago?? We or she didn't hear it again at all thru our stay.

I appreciate it…I was puzzled by them as well but when looking at them all some look normal and the others have all this activity. Will one ever be able to fully explain it?? Probably not, just wanted other to be able to enjoy what shots we had taken.

Don't get me wrong, I do believe in the afterlife, and after hearing your further personal experiences I am of the opinion that you experienced true paranormal activity. I believe and trust Carolyn, and if she vouches for you, then that is good enough for me. I think you can be skeptical though and still be a believer. It would be interesting to see the other pictures in the series, the before and after of the ones with the activity.

I have had a few experiences that might be paranormal but might not be, I will save those for another day. Something happened this morning and I would like to know what you think.

It was about 5 this morning, my feet were uncovered and it felt like someone ran their finger along the bottom of my left heel. I jumped and first thing I checked to see is where my cat was, he laying against my right leg curled up in a ball. Next I checked if my husband had got up but he was next to me. There have been a few other things that have happened in my home, things moved, breezes when no windows are open, stuff like that.

Just wondering if this might have been because of a dream or paranormal.

I was awakened by it.

I have some strange experiences upon awakening sometimes, like hearing knocking on the walls or doors, shaking of my bed, and even thinking I am awakened by audible voices in my ear.

But now I wonder if these things aren't a product of the awakening state of sleep (not sure of technical term). LOL

The only one that I'm not sure about is the bed shaking because after being awakened by it, I will actually feel the continued vibration of the bed, so much so that I can place my hands on the bed and feel it.

This sounds a bit strange doesn't it? Oh well, it's happened my entire life.

But, on the other hand, it might not be something associate with sleep in your case, Duckie, because you have these other experiences going on at the same time.

My husband has said he had felt someone touching him but not me. The feeling was like if my foot was in the way and they wanted me to move it. I could still feel the touch about an hour after it happened. I could have been dreaming and my mind got the best of me, not sure. I didn't freak out but kind of got happy that if it was a ghost that it finally touched me. I'm weird like that.

There was one time I was looking for a necklace that is very special to me, I had put it on my dresser where I always place it. When I was ready to go, I went to put the necklace on and it wasn't where I had placed it. I searched everywhere and could not find it, I had some clothes on the bed (trying to find that cute outfit) and when I moved them the necklace was under the clothes layed out nice and straight. My husband was not at home, coming to pick me up, and I was the only one in my home.

With my recent experiences, I'm gonna have to say. Who knows! It could be. One night when I was asleep in a room that is supposedly haunted in a room that is supposedly haunted, I was awakened by someone stroking up the side of my leg. I assumed it was Jim and rolled over. His back was to me and he was snoring.

I've decided that, while I am not afraid of ghosts, I do not like being awakened by something unseen. I find that just very disconcerting because when I am asleep – or barely waking up – my defenses are down.

That's why I always wear underwear while sleeping. You never know. Just ask Cheryl.

Plus if the house catches fire I want to have at least that covered.

Now I will be serious. I have felt something similar to what you felt Duckie, and on more than one occasion. I just attribute it to the muscles in my foot as they are spasming or what have you.

It might have been a spasm but it felt like what my husband does to me when he wants me to move my foot out of his way. I thought it was him but he snored in my face and had his hand on my, well I won't say where it was but it wasn't near my foot. I wasn't freaked out but if a ghost wants to touch me there are other parts, okay I will keep it PG.

There have been other times when I have heard my name being called but hubby wasn't home and no neighbors knew i was home, so I brushed it off as my imagination. I have seen shadows move in my home, sometimes I think that it just the cat but not sure.

Let's see, where do I start?

I grew up in the early 60's in a home in Massachusetts that had undocumented activity. Lights that would turn on and off, doors that would open and shut. Apparitions, audio anomalies.

We never had anything documented, because most of the activity was considered normal to us, we just accepted it.

My first personal experience there, was an audio anomaly of the sound of furniture being moved. My bedroom was on the second floor of the house, and my grandmother lived with us with her rooms on the second floor.

During that night we awoke to the sound of furniture being moved, dragged around, it was very loud. We assumed it was my mom and dad who had a bedroom on the first floor. We listened for a few minutes and went back to sleep. I was quite young, 8 perhaps and didn't give it much thought.

The next day, my parents asked just what it was that we were doing that we had to move furniture during the night, they had heard the exact same noises and assumed it came from us on the upstairs floor.

The second experience I had there was a physical experience. I was about 17 or 18, and I was up during the night and decided to get a drink, and go back to bed. I was in the kitchen pouring a glass of milk, when I had the classic "I'm not alone" feeling and turned around.

The door to the back room that was closed, slowly opened revealing a couple inches of dark room behind it. I took my milk and went back to bed.

I had an experience with the auditory sound of footsteps pacing above me in the middle of night in our unoccupied attic. I listened to them one night while reading and that continued for about 5 or ten minutes that night. I never heard it again.

I also saw what I believe to be an apparition. Again it was late evening, I was watching tv with my mom, my dad was asleep in bed. We heard the sound of approaching footsteps and I turned to the doorway and saw a man pass by the doorway. He looked like a person strolling by, and was not translucent like you would think an apparition would be, but a solid figure. He did not acknowledge either my mom or I he just passed by the doorway.

My mom saw it also, and assumed it was my dad. She got up to make sure he was ok, but found him asleep in bed. We still talk about that to this day. I had many objects disappear to later "re-appear" in odd places. A Coke can disappeared off my nightstand to be found months later buried between a stack of blankets stored behind my bureau.

Just odd things like that.

When I became an adult, I moved here, and never really had any experiences. My husband passed away from cancer in 2007 and his parents who occupied the second floor of our home passed two years previous to that of brain cancer, within 6 weeks of each other.

There was another death in the apartment I occupy of a former tenant before I moved here. He passed away in my living room.

When I met my fiancee and he moved in here with us, we had met on a paranormal forum and shared an interest in the paranormal.

He is much more technical than I and when he moved out here, he brought recorders and other equipment. We decided one night to either go to dinner or go to a local cemetery to try and capture EVP.

We set one of the recorders on his table not sure if it would work properly as we had two other recorders on us, and left. When we returned, he checked the recorder to see if it was working properly, and to our astonishment had a class A EVP. The voice is recorded between our conversations and discussions on plans for that evening, and says "Don't do that".

After that we decided one night to seriously pursue research into what we may have in our home. So we set out the recorders an Olympus and a Sony, and recorded. We had from that night alone, over 29 class B and A Evps on that recording. And have consistently gotten EVP on each recorded session. We currently have files with close to 100 EVP's.

Some of the EVP's give their names. One says "My name is Jason and I'm the (something) here, and my name is Jeremy. We have female voices, a Spanish speaking EVP, a child and two males.

They use our names and interact in cognitive time with our son and my elderly mom and with us.

They ask for help, are sometimes amusing. One recorded clip has me coughing followed by a class b saying "Amy, get a drink".

We are not sure what these voices are, as we can't prove they are actual spirits, but we feel they are. We continue to record and to document.

We have recently had incidents with our lights being turned on at odd times, and my fiance has seen shadows in our bedroom, two, one the approximate height of a child, one about the height of a full grown male. They have not interacted with him, and I personally have never seen them.

Research continues and we love the fact that we seem to have some amazing activity right here in our home.

"While I thought that I was learning how to live, I have been learning how to die."
