OfflineI'm just wondering something while sitting at the computer constantly turning the monitor back on since Liam (now almost 11 months old) has figured out how to stand on his toes and turn the monitor off. But anyway sitting reading old posts and new posts I wonder about this. Has your view on the ghosts and other paranormal subjects changed any since this site opened 3 and a half years ago? By this I mean has your opinions changed after reading, chatting and conversing with others changed by the way they have expressed their beliefs or experiences?
I know mine has. I have to remind myself that there are other possibilites out there on why something does something and not because I don't see it that way. This field tests my thoughts constantly. I can not allow myself to become close-minded about things. There are still some things I do not believe in but I still have to count for that chance that they do.
What say you?
OfflineDefinitely. Hearing the personal experiences of so many other people, both here and other places, reminds me of how much goes on around us every day that can't be explained. I guess I always thought that way, but now think it's more common, even though subtle, than I ever thought before.
BTW, It's been 11 months? Wow, I bet Liam is getting big!

OfflineI have had a few experiences. None malevolent but freaky none the less. I've seen counless tv shows like "A Haunting" and "My Ghost Story" etc. etc,
and I don't believe a lot of what I see in reenactment shows. But since I've been here reading about other peoples experiences it reaffirmed my belief in the paranormal. These are real people's experiences told by real people not some TV actor.
OfflineSee that is what I was looking for. It seems to me that when it comes to the paranormal there are only two sides. Those that believe and those that do not believe. Most people that search for websites or groups online are usually those that do believe. They either want to share a story or relate a problem that they have been having. But I have seen several that get offensive when someone suggests something non-paranormal as the reason. So this is refreshing to me.
