Don't miss Paranormal Underground Radio TONIGHT (7-21) on http://www.ZTalkRadio.com from 6-8 p.m. PT/9-1 p.m. ET.

Jason Haxton and Kevin Mannis, owner and former owner of the infamous Dibbuk Box, join us to talk about Jason's upcoming book, the upcoming Dibbuk Box movie by Sam Raimi, and the unusual experiences surrounding the Dibbuk Box.

Jason is the museum director at A. T. Still University -- Museum of Osteopathic Medicine. He speaks on medical history and exhibits artifacts from the museum worldwide.

About the Movie:

Sam Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures produced “Dibbuk Box” is now titled “THE POSSESSION" and is set to be released on January 6, 2012. The cast includes Jeffrey Dean Morgan (“The Losers”, “The Resident”), Kyra Sedgwick (“The Closer”), Madison Davenport and Natasha Calis with Ole Bornedal on board as director. Premise: A young girl buys an antique box at a yard sale, unaware that inside the collectible lives a malicious ancient spirit. The girl's father teams with his ex-wife to find a way to end the curse upon their child.

About the book:

A dark secret slowly unravels when a wine cabinet sells at an estate sale in Oregon. It is soon sold and resold on eBay's Internet auction, and each new owner becomes desperate to get rid of the box along with the health problems, accidents, or death they claim came with it.

The curator of a medical museum in a small Missouri town learns of the mysterious cabinet and is intrigued by it as an artifact to be studied and researched. Jason Haxton places a bid on eBay and he, too, “wins” and soon finds himself the proud owner of the dibbuk box. But as he carefully investigates and records everything he can about this unusual item said to be possessed by a Jewish spirit, he discovers far more than he bargained for. In this true account, a dark past comes to light—a past that began at the time of the Holocaust and seems to have come full circle.

I'm looking forward to this show. I just recently listened to the podcast of the first Dibbuk Box show and can't wait to hear the updates.

Some Dibbuk Box Pictures …

Above: Iron gate is the actual entrance into what use to be Kevin Mannis' antique refinishing and design shop in Portland, Oregon. In the story ,the gate was locked and nobody could get in or out without passing Kevin. This is also the place where Kevin presented the Dibbuk Box as a birthday gift to his mother.

Above: This inscription is called the Shema -- one of the first prayers learned in the Jewish faith and recited in times of fear, hopefully the last prayer one utters at their death.

Above: One of the few times the Dibbuk box was used -- an odd mist appeared, and repetitious squiggles like the letter "J" are seen.

Above: The Dibbuk Box book cover! Can be viewed and pre-ordered at the website: http://www.dibbukbox.com Link at top left corner.

Above: The Dibbuk Box rests next to Jason's writing desk -- within a 24 kt. gold lined acacia wooded ark (container), and that is within a dark grey shock proof military shipping container seen here.
