John is the general manager of a municipal water treatment facility in the state of Oregon. Given his strong background in science and management, John had little interest in the possibility of paranormal activity until he experienced an event in a Washington D.C. hotel that he found both compelling and completely unexplainable through conventional logic.

John immediately began searching the Internet for a plausible explanation for his experience and was dismayed to find that many paranormal Websites were not regularly updated and he received only canned responses to his inquiries.

This lack of response from the “experts” led him to create a Web-based community dedicated to paranormal enthusiasts that would allow those interested in the spirit world an online meeting place to form local teams and share experiences and information.

This Web-based community has expanded through the creation of three Websites: westcoastghosthunters.com, eastcoastghosthunters.com, and ukghosthunters.net. Additional Websites and resources are also in development.

Since his first experiences with the unseen and unknown, John has become very knowledgeable in paranormal investigation and research and has founded an investigation team for West Coast Ghost Hunters operating out of Portland, Oregon.

Also joining us on the show is Bert Coates from NWPIA to talk about ghost tools of the 21 century and what not to waste your money on.

This week, our hard-working Science Editor J.D. Harrison will co-host the show with Karen.
