OfflineWhen I click on the "Radio" on the main PUG site, then click "Listen Live and Chat", the link tries to go to http://www.loudcity.com/statio…../z-talk-ra…/show/ztalk.htm but I just get a "Server not found" message. I would have missed most of the show tonight anyway as I got dragged grocery shopping, but I tried to listen before I left and after I returned and got the same message. Did anyone else get this?
(Perhaps it's worth noting I did try deleting my internet history, cookies, cache, etc. etc. and also tried using a different web browser. Before I gave up I tried it on my wife's PC too with exactly the same problem.)
I hope the archives will be updated soon to give me some new listening material since I missed the show tonight /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' /> Kudo's and thanks to all involved for the great shows I have listened to so far.

Huh – that's strange. When I click Listen Live and Chat, it takes me right where I need to go.
Cheryl says she's working on the archived shows, so hopefully soon. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Thanks for replying. I wonder if my ISP is blocking loudcity.com from it's paying users for some reason. I did also try connecting to the site today using a neighbors internet connection, and still couldn't, (although he also uses the same ISP as me.) Very odd. I can connect to every other site I tried with no problems apart from that one, but even if I try to go to the homepage at http://www.loudcity.com I get a 'server not found' message.
I'll just have to wait for the archives, and listen a few weeks behind everyone else as they work fine. I've now tried connecting to Loudcity on four different computers and two different internet connections with exactly the same result. I wish I knew someone locally with a different Internet provider so I could confirm it's the internet provider that is blocking the site.
OfflineHmm…. I appear to have solved the problem – sort of. If I try to go to the site and let the browser time out (Firefox. IE and Chrome all do the same thing), and then edit the link and remove the www part of the address then it works. i.e. I can connect to loudcity.com, but not http://www.loudcity.com. Odd that this is the only site I have this issue with, all I can assume is it's some odd DNS update or change to the Loudcity domain host servers that hasn't propagated through to my ISP's servers yet, (sometimes such changes can take a few days), or that as I said above, my ISP has added http://www.loudcity.com to their block list, but didn't bother adding the domain without the www.
Still, all is good now /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

Well that is indeed just strange. But hey – thanks for making the effort to come listen to us! I may have missed if you said it, but are you doing that from our link or directly through the ZTalkRadio.com link? If you go to their site and click listen and chat, maybe something different will happen.

I just tried that for a show that is currently live on air to test. The link from the ztalkradio.com site to listen is ultimately the same one as on your main page though, so the same thing happens as it tries to connect to loudcity.com. It's odd, (I know it's not my computer as I've tried it on others with the same result. The only common link is the ISP I use, so it must be something to do with them.) Anyway, I've found a way to access it now, so I'm not overly concerned.
