Does this mean contributing members can't read the PUG Magazine for free anymore? I tried reading the current issue and it seems like we have to pay per issue. Does the Website Subscription Membership give you a free digital copy of PUG Magazine to read every month?

Hello Stayfrosty. I am trying to update all the information in our forum about our new magazine redesign and sales. However, this is one post I missed. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

When we originally launched the magazine in 2008, we let people who signed up for our site the ability to read the magazine for free online. Then last year, we allowed anyone (no more needing to sign up as a member) to read the magazine for free.

Beginning with our redesigned and expanded January 2013 issue, we now charge a small fee ($1.99) to download a copy of the magazine to your computer. This decision was in part due to the costs associated with producing the magazine and updating the Website. The print-on-demand purchase process remains the same as it has always been on MagCloud.

We did have a few members who bought a Website membership (which we no longer offer at this time) within the last 12 months. For those members, I will provide magazine credits, which will allow them to download 12 issues of the magazine. I am going to contact those members individually via e-mail and let them know how to signup for the credits and how to use them to purchase any issue. If any members believe they purchased a Website subscription in the past 12 months (since January 1, 2012) and you do not receive an email from me by next week, please email me at editor@paranormalunderground.net.

With the launch of our January 2013 issue of Paranormal Underground magazine, we no longer offer a free version of the magazine. Readers can download a pdf of any issue for $1.99 or subscribe to a 12-month digital version for $19.99.

The 12-month digital subscription only covers issues for the next 12 months after you subscribe.
