Obviously, from my question the other day about this, I am way behind on the

news regarding Wellington.

I agree with many of the others here though when they say you did keep your

promise about getting the word out about the ghosts at Wellington. Many of us

here would have never known about them had it not been for you and your

passion regarding this project.

Thanks to both of you. Yes - I know I have been sharing their story as much as I could. I have some pretty amazing evidence and I've had some amazing experiences. NWPIA also has a great deal about Wellington on their website at http://www.nwpia.com.

You say that you have failed at getting the word out about the ghosts of Wellington Karen, but the way I see it you have gotten that word out through the people here, and the relating of your experiences there. So, you have accomplished what you promised, maybe not to the extent if the documentary had been put out, but the word is out there all the same.

um yep - we learned a lot. I think that another good thing to come out of this is that we have learned a lot about filmmaking. I need some time to sort of rest, recoup, and get my creative muse back, and we'll be on to the next. We now know what we need to do and how to do it. Trust me, you will all see a Ghost Knight Media documentary at some point. There are a number of amazing stories out there that need to be told.

As upsetting as what you went through is, it can only get better from here. You learned a lot, and next time you know how to do things in ways to work best for you guys. You rest and recoup all you need!! I'm sure your creative edge will be pushing to come out in the near future. I completely believe that there are tons of true, amazing stories that need to be told, and you guys are the right group to do just that! I'm really looking forward to what you have in store for us in the future.

I commend you for using this as a learning experience and move on....now you are free to start over and do it the way you and Karen see fit, consider all these hours as learning tools, when you decide to tackle this again, you'll be seasoned pros at editing and things should flow more easily. Wellington deserves a second chance, and I know you and Karen will make it right....chins up...

Thanks, Gene. Much appreciated. There is activity at Wellington, and there should continue to be in the foreseeable future. I'm sure it can survive a few Hollywood wannabes in the meantime.

The reason that I don't wish to discuss what happened is because there are two sides to every story (please see my blog He Said/She Said) - including this one. I made what I felt was the right decision for me; however, who knows how clearly I see things right now. I detest drama and I don't want to be a part of it. Everyone has a story and no one is perfect - including me. I believe that I have behaved with integrity. I don't want people to decide they have to take a side. Sometimes goals are incompatible. That is what happened in this case. There are no villains or saints here. To make it anything else is to disrespect Wellington, its ghosts and the people who have dedicated their lives to investigating it.

I'm glad you chose this road, as I detest reading the drama on the forums.

This year there has been so much of it, sometimes I just log out of the forum. I'm not a side taker anyway. I think the point or purpose gets lost when that is done, and the point should be paranormal, not drama, imo.

Whether it be Wellington, or any other paranormal topic.

Short form if you think about, people are fighting about the dead. Lacks respect imo, and I hope most

are looking to move the paranormal field forward, so what's the point. Negativity gets no where.

I hope when and if Karen, you and the group decide to work on Wellington you will keep us updated.

I won't lie and say I'm not bummed about this. I was really looking forward to it.

I got introduced to a location (Wellington) that I knew nothing about and was fascinated with the history and location. I felt bad for the peoples loss at Wellington, and what they went through. I realize I'll probably never get to Wellington, but if the chance ever arises to visit I will say a prayer and remember those who lost their lives.

One thing to keep in mind is that while the current iteration of the project may be as dead as the town of Wellington, the story is not. We may well try to regroup when the snow melts with a team of people that we can trust. This was our first attempt at making a documentary (or filming anything more complicated than a school band concert for that matter), and we learned a lot about doing things right from the beginning. We made way too many assumptions this time out, but we'll know better from now on. We can't totally quit now, we already bought the editing software, but at this point all parties involved will be starting from scratch and can film whatever the heck they want.

It's been a bad year for drama in the parnormal field, and some riding on the coattails of others.

The coattail riders have seemed to be out in full force this year.

It infuriates me when I read about it. These types of people seem to be a pain in the arse, and don't know when to leave well enough alone.
