It’s been a busy couple of weeks – but a great couple of weeks. We’ve been working hard on our latest project.

As you are aware, Jim and I have been spending some time at the site of the Wellington Avalanche disaster in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State. It is an amazing place – truly.

Yesterday, we all day and well into the night at Wellington (I arrived home at 4 a.m. – and am running on just a few hours of sleep so please pardon any typos that may exist.) We met with two teams – NWPIA (who will be featured in our September issue of the magazine) and A.P.A.R.T. of WA (who was featured in a previous issue of the magazine). All of us came together for one purpose. It was filming day for the new Ghost Knight Media, LLC. documentary, Avalanche of Spirits: The Ghosts of Wellington.

The film is now going into post production (although we have a little filming left to do here and there). It will be released on March 1, 2010, which is the 100 year anniversary of the avalanche disaster up at Wellington. The film will be available here and through Ghost Knight Media, LLC which is our new multi-media, publishing and production branch. Cheryl, Chad and I are the principals of Ghost Knight Media, LLC, and we have some big plans for the future.

There is a website for Avalanche of Spirits: The Ghosts of Wellington. To learn more about the film and the people involved, as well as to read blogs and see pictures of our progress, please visit http://www.avalancheofspirits.com.

The Ghost Knight Media, LLC site is in development and almost ready. It will be available at http://www.ghostknightmedia.com in the near future. We are excited about the possibilities presented by Ghost Knight Media – and we have some exciting options for authors seeking to be published in paranormal, spiritual, horror, science fiction and fantasy genres, as well as independent filmmakers in those genres.

Yes – big things happening and we’re excited. It is our plan to expand the quality paranormal content that we currently provide to give our members as much access to the paranormal as we possibly can. We hope you’ll join us as we grow, expand, and offer you quality content about the subject for which we all have so much passion. You are a huge part of what we do, and we appreciate your ongoing enthusiasm and support.

WOW! What a wonderful and refreshing idea, for a film. I've been following the posted Wellington info, which has been interesting and fascinating.

Very much looking forward to the film, and looked at the website.

Thanks to all involved on this project! /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

Thanks also for introducing me to Wellington, it has captured my interest.

Seems to be an area full of activity.

Good luck everyone! Be safe and I'm sure you all are working very hard, and sounds like a lot of fun also. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Thanks so much, everyone. We are very excited about it. Things are going well, and we got some good footage. We'll be going back up several times as weather permits. I can't stress enough how lucky we are and how wonderful our team is. We are working with Regan and Vinnie Vacknitz and Stephen Johnston of A.P.A.R.T. of WA who are very thorough investigators and have been participating in an ongoing team investigation of what is happening at Wellington. We are also working with Bert and Jayme Coates of NWPIA, who spend a great deal of time at Wellington. They love it there, and have come to know its subtleties and nuances over the years.

Wellington is an amazing place, and Jim, Bill Robards and I feel so blessed to be able to share its story. Bert, Jayme, Regan, Vinnie and Stephen have been extremely kind in sharing Wellington with us and now with the public.

We realize that we have sparked a public interest in Wellington, which may cause some to go investigate. A few words of caution to those in the northwest who would go to Wellington:

1. There are wild animals there – especially after dark. Please be cautious and always aware of this. Most of those noises you hear are not ghosts. They are wildlife. Some of it big. There are bears and large cats in the immediate vicinity. Stay in groups, and always be aware. This is their home, and you are the visitors.

2. NWPIA is sharing Wellington with the public rather than keeping it private because they feel it is such a wonderful and beautiful place. Please, please, please if you go – respect the location. The people who died there did so in an unimaginable tragedy. As human beings, they went through a terrible ordeal. If you are ghost hunting, please be respectful of that. If spirits, are indeed, human consciousness, then they deserve as much kindness and respect as a living, breathing human. Respect them and respect their home. Please don't stick your gum under benches. Please don't litter. Please don't steal debris from the debris field. Please?

3. Realize that Wellington is also a hiking trail and that many go to enjoy the outdoors. They give no thoughts to the paranormal or to ghost hunting. Please respect their experience there, as well.

Thanks guys – we'll keep you posted on the Wellington site, and probably here, too – as we progress.

We do have a myspace page – http://www.myspace.com/avalanc…..eofspirits, a twitter page http://twitter.com/AvalancheSpirit and a facebook fan page http://www.facebook.com/home.p…..?#/pages/A…57268635?ref=ts.

Add us for updates!

Thanks.

(looks around) We've got a theatre here? /blink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> I hope there's stadium seating at the very least. I'm glad it won't be at Cannes or Sundance, I'm not into travelling these days.
