why do producers have to try and satisfy the lowest-common denominator?

because that's what draws viewers, which raise ratings, which mean more money.

it all comes down to the mighty dollar.

What I am seeing here and other places I have posted, is that many people are leaning towards a documentary. Maybe not in the strictest sense but close.

Maybe a show that would educate, express ideas, etc. Then maybe employing them later in the show. Instead of just watching a group go through the motions like so many shows already?

Am I getting warmer?

Maybe something other than showing an investigation or a ghost hunt, which ever you prefer to call it.

Honestly I've had enough of seeing people investigate, the shows are all over tv.

The locations are even becoming dull. I need more locations of out the USA,.

I'm watching PS, cause it's the last season. GA is my main entertainment investigative show. I'll watch GHI for locations and DT when it comes back on.

That will be three investigative shows for me.

Started watching The Haunted, watch A Haunting and Celebrity Ghost Stories. I'm more entertained by a good ghost story.

Something ground breaking and educational on this topic. I like docu's and watch them.

Just something without an investigation, it's getting old for me. /wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
