OfflineI've to rewatch this weeks epi again.
La La to Marnie…. You took a nap…. again.
Ya, I always thought Nan was "THe Authority". I laugh every time she threatens with answering to "The Authority"
I'd like to see Pam and Nan in a throw down. lol
Duckie the scene with Jason, Jess, and Hoyt was a riot. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
Monk, Tommy in the Van, and convo you quoted with Jason. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
' />
What's with Jess, she was acting weird.
I'm really enjoying the Eric/Sookie story line. I'm not into this team crap, but much prefer her with Eric, so he's in the epi longer.
Started to think what's the point of were panthers, or wolves, …shapeshifters could change into panthers or wolves.
How did La La get to Mexico so quick, thought that was funny, itself.
I really hope Jason isn't a were panther, no other reason than I really hate Hot Shot, unless they write that entire story line out, than Jason can be whatever.
Ryan, just pours himself into the role of Jason Stackhouse.
This has been a very strong season so far. Cheered on Tommy killing The Mickens, they should of been dead last season, the story line was. /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
Jess is back blogging on her site. babyvamp-jessica.com. If you like, check out the vid… Special Guest Appearance. Pam in all her glory.
Vamps-Kill.com is hysterical, I love when Alan Ball does this.
Missing person alert, fellowshipofthe sun.org
These are all safe legit HBO T B sites, I love them.
Offline@Symp – I think Jessica is upset cause she glamored Hoyt to make him forget that she fed on a guy at Fangtasia.
I think Jason might be a were-panther only cause if you see the poster for True Blood, it is 3 color poster. White has Lafayette, Tara and Sam; Red has Sookie, Bill, Alcide and Eric; Black has Jason, Pam and Jessica. Don't know if it means anything.
I hope now that Tommy offed his parents, he gets more interesting cause he is boring.
By the looks of the next episode it looks like Debbie is back to no good.
OfflineWish I Was The Moon!!!
Good episode here's some of my observations and some GREAT qoutes.
How bad is it when you can start reciting the Jason lines on a brand new episode before he even says them…and almost exactly as he would? The line I'm talking about is him and Jessica in the woods…You really are good at calming me down, I've got alot of experience with this because of my mom…your mom was a werepanther too?
I'll say it again that I just don't care about Tara and I'm thrilled at the prospect of Pam getting a two for one combo meal PLEASE EAT THEM!!!
Andy and Holly is following the book sort of although I'm getting fed up with Andy constantly giving Sam a hard time and the "v" angle.
the Wild card of course is the Jason, Hoyt and Jessica angle because Jessica isn't in the books.
Tommy Mickens is consistantly the weakest character and, IMHO, a throw away story line.
The mysterious women that the baby sees, I'm wondering if Tara's new lover is Amelia Broadway and the mystery woman is Octavia Fant…just a thought to those who have read the books.
Great Quotes in no particular order:
Bill (to Sookie): Believe it or not, my entire existance doesn't revolve around who or what is between your legs.
Sookie (to Bill): You've got a hell of a nerve lecturing me about lying.
Eric (sniff sniff): Smells like death in here
Pam: It's me
Pam: Pieces of me are falling off…I'M PISSED!!!
Pam: Let me tell you a little something about "King Bill". He's a self loathing, power hungry, pompous little dork and you hate his guts!
Pam: Eric snap the F$#k out of it!! You've no loyalty to Bill Compton. You are a viking vampire GOD and you bow TO NO ONE!!! If anyone crosses you you rip their liver out w/one fang.
Nan Flanigan (to Bill off handedly): I'll see you at that tolerance thing on the 29th.
Arlene (to Terry who's asleep): Terry, no smoking in the boudoir.
Lafayette: Goat tongue, for breakfest…wow, that smells….well done….yum
Jesus: Sometimes there are more important things then pride, Grandpa
Maxine Thorntonberry: I tried to teach your no good brother to read….whatta waste of time that was. The boy is dumber then a bucket of spit and just as useful.
Maxine Thorntonberry: If you see Tommy, tell him he's dead to me…..and I want my Bible BACK!!!
Jason (hiding in his bedroom in response to Sookie calling out to him from the house): Ain't a good time Sook. I'm in the middle of a special, secret, police investigation. I need you to step away from the door.
Debbie Pelt: Isolation is bad for my sobriety
Marnie: I can't fight them on my own….i don't know how.
Pam (to Tara & her lover): Oh Tara, spare me the d$%e in the woods routine.
Jason: The second I start sprouting fur, I want you to shoot me in the head…
Sookie: I'm NOT going to shoot you in the head
Jason: YOU PROMISED
Sookie: I promised I'd take care of you.
Jason: What did you think I meant? Change my kitty litter?
Jason: Witches? Isn't that that goth store at the mall where you can buy pentagram stretch pants? Real Scary
Jason: I'M A POLICE OFFICER AND A WEREPANTHER SOOO BACK OFF!!!
Jessica: My old world was about this big (shows a tiny space with finger and thumb) and now….it's endless!!
Jessica: Jason, just look at you…how can you NOT be special?
Jason (to Jessica): sometimes words come out of my face and I don't know what they mean.
Marnie/Antonia (after bring Luis under her power): Yah little F*&K!
Sookie (tromping around in the swamp looking for Jason who's run off): Jaaaaasonn, I love you, but my feet hurt, the mosquitos are eating me alive and you ain't even going to turn into a werepanther.
Pam: That's a rotten thing to say…get it? Rotten?!
Eric (to Bill who's about to administer the true death): according to my progeny I was a barbarian thug who never respected your authority. I don't expect you to show me any mercy.
Bill: surely you don't wish to die
Eric: No, but I don't wish to live this way either. The vampire I used to be is a stranger to me. I have nothing to say in his defense. I accept my sentence, but I have a request….
Bill: Naturally.
Eric: Tell Sookie I was born the day she found me, I can go to my true death knowing what love is. Thank her for me.
Eric (to Bill): She still cares for you, I saw it last night. After I'm gone, I hope you can find your way back to each other.
Bill: Why would you hope for that?
Eric: Because Sookie deserves happiness with whoever can give it to her.
Pam (to Tara and her lover): Girls no need to squabble, there's plenty of me to go around.
Jesus' grandfather (to Lafayette and Jesus) F*&king idiots, you don't know what you need!
As i said…..VERY strong episode but I agree with others here when they waste time on crappy story lines that don't seem to fit with the real action going down! In a strange way it looks like it's starting to follow the books.
CHEERS!!!!

OfflineThe episode was decent. I just wonder why Tara wouldn't have told Lafayette about Marnie/Antonia. I think I have more questions than answers after this episode.

Maybe I'm confused with the "time line" on the show, but aren't Jesus and Lafayette still down in Mexico? Or at the very least, returning?? I don't think they're finished with Jesus' abuelito la bruja. I only watched it once this past week and I hate to be the one to say it, but aren't they getting towards the end of the season? Episode 8 coming this weekend of a 12 episode season.

I have to re-watch the episode but when Andy came into the bar to meet Holly, I think it was after Tara had met up to help recruit for Antonia, Lafayette was in the kitchen. That is when Arlene had her baby strapped to her back & Lafayette saw the spirit connected to the baby. That is where I was confused.

Oh that's right, you're right, I think that Lafayette and Jesus basically want no parts of Marnie any more so she didn't bother approaching them? Her track record hasn't exactly been stellar with them. The coming battle if it's anything like the books will be epic to say the least.

They got to Mexico, in 5 minutes, took a few epis to get home, but not much happened in Mexico.
No surprise Lafayette has a gift, his mother knew it.
I really miss Russell on the show, one of my favorite characters.
Debbie has lost much of her southern accent this year. Being on the wagon, must cause this. /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
' /> /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />
It's funny how Alcide gets to Bon Temps from Shreveport so quickly, at least this time he drove his truck, and Debbie used her wolf skills.
Last time they took a few minutes from the pack joining, and just appeared while Sookie and Eric doin the nasty. Must of been their unshown wolf skills.
In general SOME of the time lines on the show this season, seem to be out of whack with the main Sookie story line. I've had a few wth moments and had to go back and watch.
What did Bill mean when he told Tara you know why I saved your life. Because Tara saved Sookie from Bill, in the Van. Tara, also helped to save Bill's life with Sookie at Russell's mansion. Both, maybe?
I can't help but wonder now if there is more to Tara, than meets the eye. I hope so, she is the most boring character in the show.
I hear the Clash singing, should I stay or should I go now, when she is in a scene.
Bill is just boiling over with humanity again this last epi. I did enjoy the all biz evil Bill more at beginning of the season.
Not much of a preview for next week's show.
When the heck does Sookie sleep. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

Yeah Monkette and I both were displeased with the coming attractions for next week. Not cool at all. I can't wait to see Marnie get hers!!!

OfflineYah, a new episode of True Blood in 2 days.
I really hope that the battle is like the books, especially when it comes to Debbie. I hope that Alcide grows a pair and becomes a man & not a boy.
OfflineWell this episode was decent, I guess. What is the point of the Lafayette/Mavis story line? Waste of time if you ask me. Along with the whole Sookie dream sequence with Eric and Bill. Did it look like she was a little air brushed when she disrobed a little or has she really toned up that much?
Best line of the night?
Jessica: Did Hoyt say that?
Jason: Well, I'm parrot phrasing here….
WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER

I didn't get the Lafayette storyline either, it seemed like it was thrown in there to prove that he was a medium. She did look a little airbrushed, there did seem something a little off. I was about ready to scream if Bill and Eric would have kissed. I hope the battle will be good. I liked the whole conversation between Bill and Nan, she has more power than she lets on.
OfflineI must point out that I REALLY wanted them to kill Tommy last night. Enough of him and his BS. He's already sold out Maxine's property out from under her and is doing everything in his power to make Sam's life a misery. BUHBYE don't let the door hit you in the butt too hard on your way out of the series. Perhaps they're saving him for the big battle ??? Here's hoping.

GAWD I hope so. It really is time to kill Tommy off.
OfflineJust a heads up, I just got a bunch of new books amongst them the "Home Improvement" short stories which features a new Sookie Stackhouse short story…..
it seems like she's setting up the next novel by introducing a psychic, but the story was boring and bad. Hopefully the other stories are better. I've got the Sookie Stackhouse companion on preorder and this too is to contain a brand new short story, here's hoping that's a little better, this one was the pits. DUMB and NO VAMPIRES!!!

OfflineWhen Tommy died, I swear that I could hear Monk cheering. I'm glad that Sam has a backbone now and I hope that Alcide finally grows one or at least gets his nuts back from Debbie. I loved seeing Eric, Pam, Jessica and Bill all in black at the end of the episode.
OfflineAnother strong episode and one of my least favorite characters has finally bought the farm! YEEEAAAH. So long you ruiner of the show and dragger down of the plot line and action. Don't let the door hit you in the butt TOO hard!
I could not agree more.
