Now what would be confusing would be a clown dressed in a chicken suit.

I'm not always right but I'm never wrong.

For some. Not for us, we're very evolved! I'm thinking 2-3 episodes until season finale? I forget is there any word yet on that?

uh oh. Monkette will NOT be pleased. Fortunately, I have some of her favorite ice cream popsicles hidden away in the freezer for JUST such emergencies! I guess I'll surf over to either AMC or IMDB to find out when the next new episodes are happening.

Well I did not see that ending coming. Now it seems obvious, but that was a sad way to end this season …

Yes, that was a very sad ending, but one that was inevitable. I'm going to use the spoiler box because I don't want to ruin anything for anyone….

I don't know whether it's because of my exposure to the media and books or what, but I can sort of see this stuff coming anymore. I believed that Sofia had been turned but it was a matter of time before she showed up. Since Otis was in charge of corralling (sp?) the Walkers and putting them in the Barn, he was the only one who'd have known they had her. Shane killed him before the rest of the crew arrived from the highway.

Shane is a straight up sociopath. We're starting to see that he didn't handle the power transition as well as he showed and Dale has him pegged exactly right. He's the perfect man for the way the world is now! But in identifying him as such, puts the bullseye directly on himself now. Unless he has some great skill they can't live without, he's toast in the next season (Dale that is). Shane is definitely going to be gunning for him now. The fact that shane doesn't deny the kind of person he is and the "hostile takeover" at the farm makes him VERY VERY dangerous indeed. What does Hershel have to stop him? He's only got that farm hand guy, Otis' widow and Maggie. I haven't seen any others. Or just can't recall them right now.

It just killed me to see Rick sink down to that level and do what he did.

Not familiar with the spoiler alert on this site so just page down, way down…

Hi guys, sorry that I haven't been on lately, very busy at work. This show was crazy. I have not missed an episode and unlike Monk, I DID NOT SEE THIS COMING!!! Oh boy, when the girl stumbled out, my jaw just dropped. I had a different take on Rick finally taking his shot on Sophia though. I thought he was the only one capable of doing what needed to be done. Just as Herschel said, as soon as the group saw one of their own, it was different. No one could bring themselves to shoot the girl because she was a PERSON to them. The shock was palpable. Rick was the only one able to do the humane thing. I just loved when Maggie slapped Shane when he was going after Herschel. That girl has chutzpah!!! Shane is most definitely a sociopath who is built for this world but he doesn't seem to be able to distinguish right from wrong or care what is right or wrong. Poor Dale (the voice of reason) will most certainly be a victim of Shane's descent into more murderous acts because he knows how dangerous Shane is. For me the most disgusting moment was when Shane was asking Lori how many times Rick had saved her because Shane had saved her 4 times already. How dare he!!!!! I so wished that Dale had shot him when he had the chance. Shane is bad to the bone and now that he knows Lori is pregnant he will be unstoppable.

Me too! And glad you are back MM and hope work is giving you a break!

I agree MM. I think you hit the nail on the head with Rick and what he did. When it came to one of their own, he was the only one who "had to do what needed to be done." You could see it in his face. There was no other choice.

I felt so sorry for Hershel and Sophia's mom (I can't remember her name right now). The devastation on their faces … ugh!

Dale is in trouble because he knows too much … Shane will continue to self-destruct and take others down with him … and I have a new respect for Glen after his talk with Maggie! I loved seeing that side of Glen.

Is it just me or does Herschel's eyes turn really dark sometimes. Sometimes his eyes are normal (blue, I think) but then sometimes they seem dark. I actually started thinking earlier in the season that he was evil and this whole show was going in a different direction with Herschel's dark demon eyes. Silly me, the only evil one on this show is Shane!

Maybe he's been experimenting on himself on a serium for the WD's? A little WD blood in his system?

There's a striped box to the left of the "font" drop down toggle that when you run the cursor over it will say "special bb code". When you click on it the screen will go slightly gray and a maroon topped window will pop up. You click on that and choose "spoiler". Once you click on that another box will open and you simply type the text you want to shield in the field provided…easy peasy lemon squeezey!

I don't claim to be brilliant about these plot matters, but it just always seems to me that when you run out of possibilities it's what you are left with that becomes the reality. No matter how ugly.

As far as it not effecting them because Sophia was one of their own…how 'bout Amy (Andrea's sister) or that dude Jim they left behind to turn all alone? They were both vital, contributing members of their group, but I think the difference with Sophia was that she was a child and considering all the tragedy surrounding her family (ie: her father being a complete jerk weed), it made her circumstances alot more tragic and the fact that they'd been through so much trying to find her, for this to be the pay off was a very bitter pill to swallow.

I think so too. No matter how ugly, it's normally what you are left with, becomes reality.

Looking forward to the new season.

It would make me bitter knowing Herschel kept that secret for so long while everyone was out looking for Sophia and risking their lives to find someone that was not out there….(and why would Herschel/Otis even take the time to capture her and put her in the barn) At first i felt bad for him while everyone was unloading on his "zombie family" and shooting them, then again, I was like, well, serves you right for keeping that secret, and besides, the longer you contain these zombies the higher the rsik of them breaking out and hoarding on everyone….I mean a lightning storm could strike the barn and open it up, wind storm, run away horse….whatever……
