Well I remember those sunday night mysteries and they got great ratings, had big stars and had shorter seasons...macmillian and wife, maccloud, columbo...that format worked great for a long time!! Wouldn't mind seeing something like that again.

Read recently that a few in the network chain are considering shorter seasons for the broadcast stations in order to get big name stars. Not sure about this view one way or another yet. Because if you have a shorter season and a non-commited viewer misses an episode or two or three then what? Will they then say the heck with it and not watch then this leads to the lower ratings and boom...there goes yet another good show.

Finally, the powers that be are listening. Shorter seasons, tighter plot arcs, if the show is successful, bring it back. If not, cut and run but at least give us an ending! The BBC model to a "T".

Yeah there were plenty of BBC shows that we enjoyed that followed this format. We didn't realize it at the time and got pissed that the show didn't come back. Demons was one of those.

First I am surprised I haven't seen t his thread before tonight. Yes, I have been watching. It seems kind of interesting even though I am not one that enjoys the 'we're filming a documentary so you'll get the camera POV in the show' type of person.

I heard a lot of answers are going to be answered in the last episode of the season which is coming up very soon. like next week or the next.

PS: it is also executive produced by Spielberg and I am dissapointed that Terra Nova was cancelled.
