Indeed, great story. Wonder how the fallout will proceed…

The Macneils are going to let me do a case files on their house – so that is cool. Did I already mention that?

And thanks, guys. It sort of wrote itself – I just got commentary from Leigh Macneil and Jason Hawes. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

The case file will be very cool! Sounds like there is some history there.

Hey, give yourself some credit, maybe it was your charming personality that got you the commentary. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

It also speaks well of PUG that Jason felt comfortable enough to know that you would get it right. Again, good job.

We've gotten some commentary about my blog from yesterday, and I thought I would add a little clarification.

This is a single story piece, not meant to do anything other than discuss the one story – the Macneil’s experience on Ghost Hunters and Jason Hawes’s response to that. I realize that others are drawing conclusions based upon Mr. Hawes’s comments to me; however, he was commenting on two questions that I asked:

Can you provide comment about the Macneil’s experience on Ghost Hunters?

~and~

Can you tell me the extent to which you have participation in the editing of the show Ghost Hunters?

Those are the questions I asked, and I relayed the answers that I received. This was meant to present both sides of that story – nothing more or less.

I'd also like to mention that both Leigh and Renee have both told me that they weren't unhappy with TAPS in the slightest – merely the editing of the show, which was why I focused on the two questions above.

I did read that the homeowners were not unhappy with TAPS coming to their house, it speaks well that they are not speaking ill of TAPS simply because they can. The whole incident is interesting to say the least, and as I mentioned in a previous post, I still wonder why Jason and/or Grant don't have some teeny-tiny say over the editing of the show, if only to protect the interests of TAPS, the agency they raised from infancy.

Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try.

No surprise there, I guess.

Now it appears the entire thread has gone to the great thread house in the sky. *Poof*.

Good thing we have this lovely little place called PUG where people can come whack the topic around and jump all over my butt for writing a neutral article.

Wonder who made that decision? /unsure.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

"They insisted that the victim animals simply had died of dog bites from dogs or other animals. They suggested that disease might have been responsible for one animal's death. They denied that the victims had been exsanguinated, as many witnesses had claimed, and even suggested that the puncture wounds reported might be from barbed wire. Callers reminded them that some wounds were deep enough to reach into the victims' lungs, that the flesh was not torn as in dog bites, that signs of struggles were inexplicably missing, and that corpses did not decay normally, but their arguments were brushed aside. Also brushed aside were callers' attempts to bring extraterrestrials into the conversation.

When the recording ended. I rewound it and played it again and again. I still could not believe what I was hearing. The callers had the skeptics pinned against the ropes from the very first call." - Scott Corrales

I re-posted this on another site to get reactions. Only one person responded. Not suprisingly it was a TAPS Fan. LOL I thought people might find interesting the banter that went back and forth between us but be prepared. She is a die hard TAPS Fan of Blind Faith and defends TAPS, attacks the poster and never really addresses the issue. Here is the link

I can only guess that it was poofed because of the info the homeowner posted from the show's producer/production … you know, the letter that laid out each day in detail. I'm also guessing there is some type of nondisclosure agreement to not post that communication in a public forum.

I'm surprised the thread lasted as long as it did. Did anyone get it archived?

I, for one, am happy to have a place like PUG, where every opinion is welcomed and you don't have to live in fear of the poofy post or thread.

And I'll say it again, you did a great article.

So sad, and so disgustingly true.

Hi everyone:

I just finished talking with Renee Macneil. They are going to let us do an investigator case files on their home – probably for the November issue, so that is very cool.

I asked, and it appears that they were IP banned from SyFy, although they are able to log in to it from their work computers; however, they don't want to make waves so they aren't posting.

That shows some class. If only some of the trolls could just show the same restraint! /rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

I could see that thread getting deleted from almost the very beginning. I guess it just took admin that long to find out it was really the MacNeill family posting and not some impostors.

Investigator case files, do you mean their own findings? I would love to hear what they found. Or from a reputable group.

I wish them luck in all they do. Good life!

Expected the thread to leave, and being banned.
