Looks like one of the family members has posted a series of messages on the SyFy forum under Ghost Hunters about how they portrayed his wife and was disappointed in the way the episode was presented. Interesting stuff. /ohmy.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

"They insisted that the victim animals simply had died of dog bites from dogs or other animals. They suggested that disease might have been responsible for one animal's death. They denied that the victims had been exsanguinated, as many witnesses had claimed, and even suggested that the puncture wounds reported might be from barbed wire. Callers reminded them that some wounds were deep enough to reach into the victims' lungs, that the flesh was not torn as in dog bites, that signs of struggles were inexplicably missing, and that corpses did not decay normally, but their arguments were brushed aside. Also brushed aside were callers' attempts to bring extraterrestrials into the conversation.

When the recording ended. I rewound it and played it again and again. I still could not believe what I was hearing. The callers had the skeptics pinned against the ropes from the very first call." - Scott Corrales

I'm thinking he may have a lawsuit in his future.

I'm sure GH must make them sign something

forbidding them from talking about it, or we

would have heard a lot more by now i would

guess. good or bad, we never hear anything.

when asked about signing something he said

that they signed a lot of papers and he wasnt

sure if that was one of them. i think i would

make sure before i went posting all over the

networks forum about how unhappy you are.

I saw that HeidiAnn, I have seen other people post where TAPS has been but not as derogatory as this but does add a lot of credence to how most of the posters feel about Ghost Hunters.

I swear I'm not trying to be a b*tch here, but something

seems off about him. not saying he's not who he says he

is, but all that picture stuff is strange to me.

Would J&G really have no explanation for that? Any kid

would know to at least say "it could be photoshopped"

and when MS showed how easy it was to do that he

seemed to get a bit upset.

He could be a little defensive because he knows the specifics on the photo but its probably a lot due to the way GH only touched on part of the issues and made it appear that they debunked everything that was addressed. I would be upset too if I had a lot of weird happenings in my home and J&G only responded to part of it and made me look like I was some kind of simpleton with little common sense.

I agree when it comes to the J&G stuff,

it's just the pic stuff that i find odd.

This is really interesting. I actually remember when Brenda from the very first show posted in the SciFi forums. I'm wondering if that thread was deleted. I'm guessing it won't be long before the other one is.

Thank you.

I read some of the others too. I have to admit that I am not surprised however. TAPS always half steps everything and only does or uses what benefits them. Remember they have to stay on top for ratings or they get canceled.

Their antics used to bug the heck out of me but of late I really don't care much. I do watch these days but for laughs.

The one thing that does bother me is the poor people out there that believe that TAPS is the satandard for Ghost Hunting. I am not talking about the fans that defend some of the things they do but the ones that truly believe everything they say or do. Oh well, to each his own.

Here is something I got a kick out of. I messaged Grant the other day on another site with the 360 degree lens idea and he replyed back that they were 1 step ahead of me. They were just saving up the funds. Saving for a lens???? I know for a fact that the show could afford a camera lens. My point being is that they need to feel they are the #1 in everything. I wonder if they will use the lens on a future show? Now that would be funny.

This is one example of the power of editing on a TV show . . . assuming what is being posted on skiffy is true.

Wait, they can buy a whole INN but have to save up for a lens? What is wrong with that picture?

I know it was probably a typo but it gave me a good laugh.

TAPS has been known for a long time that they only care about their show and the ratings. If they really wanted to help people out then they would show us more of the follow-ups after the investigation is over.

I just read the SyFy thread. Not all surprising. My concern is that this family is going to get shafted twice by TAPS. First on the investigation end of things and then by getting sued. The homeowner says that he doesn't care and that they can sue away, but that could make their life very difficult. Hope it all works out okay for them.

had i been that guy i think i would have reread my contract before posting.

oh, and i was surprised too by the TAPS Family Member group joining in.

i suppose they are risking their "family status" by doing that.

and did you see the description of their Inn.

not very pleasant sounding.

It surprises me that anyone would want to be part of the TAPS family. I suppose money talks, but for me, dignity and integrity would have to reign.

I agree. And, having worked in the media, I know how masterful cutting this or adding that can be.

I agree. Too many groups these days use the TAPS family moniker to advertise their supposed worth to the paranormal community. While that may have been true in the early days, things have certainly changed. If you think about it, joining "the family" means your group automatically assumes the negative press associated with GH, the show, the presentation, and conference controversy. Why anyone would willingly wish to operate with that constant shadow over their heads is a mystery.

I re-posted this on another site to get reactions. Only one person responded. Not suprisingly it was a TAPS Fan. LOL I thought people might find interesting the banter that went back and forth between us but be prepared. She is a die hard TAPS Fan of Blind Faith and defends TAPS, attacks the poster and never really addresses the issue. Here is the link
