Agreed with the comments regarding the EVP - how he's able to interpret them is beyond me, but makes the whole thing more entertaining I guess.

I've heard it go both ways ... the show was very representative of a case (with just a couple of differences) and also that the show didn't accurately represent the whole picture. But then, it's a TV show. How could it give us all the complicated details of these cases?

Chad directed me to a post on Syfy recently about the case of the Hollywood Sign. One of the people involved said the telling of their story was pretty accurate with a few differences, such as the order of events or instead of walking uphill and an event happened the show depicted them walking downhill when an event happened, etc.

Just watched the most recent episode last night. I enjoy the story telling, although I can definitely see some production tricks to up the scary value. Not sure on the accuracy - but if you want to watch a good scary story, I like it!
