OfflineI like the Klinge Brothers. I have no idea whether or not they are good investigators, but I would definitely want those two good old boys on my side in a fight. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />
I bet they say ma'am, open car doors and stand up when a woman approaches their table, too. I bet they even take off their hats and put their hands on their hearts when they hear the national anthem. Love that!
I often wonder how much ribbing they took from their Texas friends about ghost hunting. You just know that they were the butt of a lot of jokes at their local tavern. Of course, getting a TV show probably stopped a lot of that.
OfflineRobb D. is part of the PUG family? Wow. He is probably the only one I never had a problem with on either version of GH.
EDIT: And I must add the mighty…one and only…Joe Chin!…lol…But re-reading the post I quoted I wonder if the poster was talkig about Robb D of GHI?
Yep, Robb D writes for us. We're glad to have him!

Offline…and Jill
/laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Hey! Isn't it bad enough that I've never been a Jillian? I've been downsized since birth!
This does remind me of a Dave Matthews Band conversation I had with a friend once. Neither of us were fans, and we always thought it was funny how the band name length to popularity ratio progressed. The more popular they became, the shorter the name of the band. For instance the common phrase I heard about them in high school/college- "Do you listen to the Dave Matthews Band?" which soon became "Do you listen to Dave Matthews?" then "Do you listen to Dave?". Eventually my friend and I concluded it would just become "Do you listen?" and possibly even just "Do you?" and the reference would just be understood. Scary, I know. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
While the fan sovereignty to the band was annoying to say the least, perhaps they really were pioneers in downsizing lol.
And since I'm completely off topic I'll throw this in- Rob D. is awesome. As is Joe Chin. I'd read an article by them on Par Und anyday!

Ya know, you make a good point. I haven't been impressed with they way TV portrays the serious ghost hunters, etc. However except for a select few all seem to be pretty good people. I guess a bad show doesn't necessarily make you a bad person…

I think a lot of these shows have directors and produces with delusions of grandure. Ghost hunting can be boring, you really can't make a show from it. I don't think you can judge a person by the show they are on.

Unless they are perfroming on the show and/or have a say in the way the show is produced and shown and are making big money from it and appearances…..***cough***Jason and Grant****cough***cough****
***EDIT*** And I never thought Robb fell into that group. He seemes to be a legit investigator who didn't want to have to go all hollywood for results…like others on the show. In my opinion…
OfflineYou know initially, I just thought Robb was WAAAAY too intense, but over time I began to appreciate his style and he was one of the few reasons I continued to watch GHI loooong after I'd got disillusioned watching GH. He didn't seem to just throw up his hands and go, "it's haunted". Jay used to be so much harder to sway, but that sort of faded away. The other reason for watching, of course, was Master Chin!
