pretty sure Britt won't be joining the ranks. I know they had some episodes in the can, so I wonder if those will air, or if they will be relegated to the special features category.

From what I've read, Britt did film a few episodes and those will be aired.

One thing that just amazes me is how many people want to criticize syfy/pilgrim for the drastic action that they took, saying that they don't have the right to fire personnel for their off camera viewpoints. Amazing! Of course they can do whatever they wish, and if anyone expresses controversial language or views off air then they should have the right to take action. It's their product, their creative direction, and ultimately their decision. Since hearing about that particular controversial segment, I did a little research and found a video online of Mr. Griffith filming an video with his former group where he is simulating a sex act with a sex toy. I classify this under the Christine O'Donnel logic: being that if you have done/said stupid crap that will come back to haunt you, then you can't get upset when it does just that...

Griffith was not my favorite character in the franchise, and his online persona certainly did not do much to endear him in any way. He was brash, abrasive, defensive, etc... and perhaps a little too unapologetic with his "blue collar if you don't like it kiss my a$$ persona". Perhaps syfy didn't think that would be compatible with their show which enjoys viewership from a large demographic spanning many ages and orientations, and ultimately, it's their show.

The Griffith apologists are certainly not helping matters, comparing his comments to Letterman's infidelity and demanding that Griffith be shown some leniency. This was a particularly silly remark, comparing a secondary supporting cast member on a cable tv show to David Letterman. Perhaps if Griffith's work with the show generated even 1/10th of the revenue for NBC that Letterman currently generates for CBS, then perhaps he would still be employed. Also, Letterman's infidelity wasn't particularly offensive to any minority groups that I am aware of with exception of his own wife. The comparison is just ridiculous, but shows the lengths his apologists will go to try to set the story straight.

In closing, I am sure he regrets very much the words he chose that fateful evening. I am sure he is well aware now of the consequences of flagrantly displaying words and personal beliefs that may not be in harmony with his employer and the dangers of doing so. I am sure this has been a learning experience for him and he would likely even agree that it is time to move on to other things. I am sure that the paranormal community has not heard nor seen the last of Mr. Griffith, and that he will likely take this incident, learn from it, and perhaps even build on it.

As far as the other cast members, well, perhaps their physical attributes and screen appeal grant them some sort of limited immunity. I agree though, for a supposed family friendly show, the secondary support members can be less than wholesome on their public online feeds.

As I understand it, Barry is new lead investigator, Kris Williams as case manager, Bradford as tech manager, and Chin and Tepperman rounding out the investigative team. Not sure if that is it or not, the swirl of facts/rumours around this one is amazing.

It seems logical that Barry would now become the lead in the International version of GH what with his accent. But Kris Williams joing the International team? I kind of findthat a little hard to believe that she would give up the comfort of US work to travel across the globe. If she does join the cast it would probably be for only a few episodes to boost ratings.

Besides if she did join it on a regular basis who would Jason call sweetie?
