Great news. I just received an email that my group PICT has been accepted as a family member by the Ghost Adventures Crew. I'm still looking over all the advantages but one includes that our group's name could be shown on one of the episodes. Plus there is some other stuff that I'm reviewing.

So all in all, I'm very happy today about this.

Congrats, Ryan! Let us know how this goes.

Do you get advance notice if your group's name is shown on a epi?

I don't know how that part works yet. But the way it sounds if GAC comes to my area, we could be included on some stuff like research and the like. I'll have to hire a stunt double if they want me on TV.

Hey, we all saw your pic in the magazine. I think you'll be fine on tv!

Maybe they will include your group (or some members) like TAPS does on some episodes…

That is cool Ryan!

That's what we are hoping for, just a chance to meet these guys in person. I still don't want to be on TV.

I've not seen your picture, but unless you have a 3rd arm growing out of your forehead, then you should be OK. And even then…

Good deal, though. Maybe you can be the guy who pulls the string on the flying brick. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

I was on TV once. A show called "That's Incredible." After 8 hours of filming in the August heat, and humidity, reenacting an rape/murder that took place in December, my TV debut was nothing more than a glimpse of my shadow. Hey! I was a "shadow people!" /blink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

I bet it was an Emmy-worthy shadow performance! And the Emmy goes to – JMD's shadow!!

Mainly for me, I just don't like being on TV. I don't think my looks are that bad, just I hate being on the other side of the camera. I've had plenty of incidents on TV and every time I see the camera person I want to hide.

So.. this is the snarky side of me.. but

What DOES being a GAC(k) Family Member get you? Besides a nifty badge for your website…and a name sake to flash around?

Not only do we get the nifty badge, we get three of them. Nah, I think it will be the same as a TAPS family group but with a different name. In other words, not a darn thing.

Woot woot – three badges! Yee haw. Is there a secret handshake and a secret spikey hairdo, as well? If so, take pictures.

You rock!! hahaha! I was waiting for some defensive response.. as I get a lot from IPI, TAPS, and GAC(k) family members.

What I understand about the GAC membership is that much of the value is from information exchange on their site. But I'm sure there's more to it than that.

I know what you mean. I disliked dealing with the media at crime scenes, accidents, etc. My biggest complaint about them is that they ALWAYS get stuff wrong. No matter what you tell them, or what they can see for themselves, they ALWAYS screw up the facts. ALWAYS.

How many times did you end up being listed as the murder victim?
