Good for you. I think a lot of these blog talk shows need to realize that there is a legitimate Paranormal Community that is different from the Para-Entertainment community. I think that some just believe the guy's on TV are it. However, I have to admit I didn't see the show. I will have to watch on Tues. before giving a professional opinion.

It's replaying right now, and it's still just as awful.

Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try.

That which is unchallenged and exercised as habit rapidly becomes ritual.

When this occurs, dissent becomes an object of surprise, if not resentment.

a group on Face Book that hosts a blogtalk just booked these guys for a show, when I told them great I would love to beat them down for showing a bug to a client on national television as a Spirit Orb. They went into a panic.

I was advised that is a good way to get kicked off a show, I has advised back that when a person gets kicked off a show or a chat room for posing legitimate questions That would speak volumes about the show.

She had offered me an hour of my own forum if I went gentle on them.

I don't even know what a spirit orb is, how did they explain this to the client?

Curious.

During the review, they had showed the client the object that was flying loops which is easy to see it was a moth. He said that "Dust Orbs do not move like that, Its the real deal."

here is the best photo I could find of Orb type activity. Orbs are so rare that very few photos exist of them.

Ah, that is a picture of Doris Bither. You might remember her story which became a motion picture entitled "The Entity." She was renting a house in Culver City, CA (where I lived before I moved to the Gettysburg area). She was repeatedly attacked by some entity. It occurred in the early 70's, I believe.

I just saw this for the first time last night. I was trying to figure out why they were calling themselves Detective, Investigator and Officer without the quote marks. ("Investigator") And then I saw the handgun and thought really? Cops? Honest to God cops? I used to work in a city and I never saw our police officers behave like that.

Its a different twist you must admit. If I had to rank them, I would put this show, as far as entertainment value goes, ahead of Ghost Hunters, Ghost Hunters Intl and Ghost Adventures and certainly way ahead of Paranormal State. I quickly have gotten sick of Ghost Hunters (can't stand Jason's bullying), Ghost Hunters Intl or Ghost Adventures. GA seems to be about tight black t-shirts and how the guys react to what they think is happening. (Gotta admit though, this girl does like a tight black t-shirt /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ) Paranormal State seems to be how earnestly Ry-ry can glower at the camera in a sexy manner.

For me, no one tops Destination Truth. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />

I love that show but cant stand that they stop the investigation soo soon or the second they Jael gets a bad feeling. The last few shows were the best. The episode where the guy got yanked across the field I would have not left, but called for back up and opened a full force investigation with GH and GHI. That many cameras and investigators would have found something the way that place was exploding.

I have been reading up on the web site.

6 episode show, so I guess they are just trying it on the audience to see where it falls. I see it is on tonight at 10:30pm eastern so I will give it a go.

Boy I hope they don't embarrass other police officers out there that do this. Or have they already? /dry.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

I guess it depends on what you consider embarrassing behavior. They seem to be trying to strike a stereotypical Chicago cop..tough guy, you know. Like I said, I never saw any of our police officers behave like that.

All the cops I know and are friends with act just like that, so I would say they act "normal" in regards to their day jobs and ghost investigation scenarios…if I were a cop, I would not be embarrassed by their behaviour (so far).

I find their antics to be pretty low-brow. I didn't think they were very professional at all. This show plays way too much into stereotyping on both the police and the paranormal aspects. I don't know much about the perception of chicago cops, but if this is an acceptable portrayal then I feel bad for them.

That was some of the best video I have seen on that show. Amazing.
