I've noticed SYFY promoting the heck out of the 100th episode of GH, so I'll bet anyone now that this premiere will be the biggest one of all time for GH….

Seems like everyone has done it for one reason or another. lol

GH did it once before and is returning to celebrate their 100th show I believe.

No they've not investigated there before. They've been to the Bay Area once before but didin't investigate Alcatraz, they did a haunted kid's consignment store and the Winchester mystery house down in San Jose.

Sorry, I went back to check again because I thought I heard that they did. Turns out they filmed in November and have mentioned it prior. So I must have misinterpreted their saying they were returning as they had investigated there before. OOPS…

Don't worry, I had thought the same when I saw the commercial for it. I wonder why they waited so long to investigate out there when several other shows already have. Heck the first one I saw was the kid's show. They investigated out there then a month later the one for Ghost Lab came on.

I also heard they are doing this special with some interactive stuff as well. Guess we'll see how they screw up this one.

I watched GHI for the first time this season and what the heck happened to Brandy? She looked like she aged 15 years rather quickly.

I think it's a combo of wanting to strangle that new girl and the fact that she's now performing excorcisms in her spare time, that'll age anyone.

Just as a head's up so y'all know. They won't be alone if they're doing the "overnight" at the Rock. There's a cleaning crew that comes in w/the last boat out and leaves in the morning on the first boat in. So if they try to say they're completely alone out there…horse hockey, in addition to who ever else is in their crew, there's park service staff as well.

This reminds me of an incident at Mansfield a few years back. Someone I know was there and broke off from the main groups investigation. They found staff making noises, banging on walls, pipes and hiding around the building in places of close proximity to the investigation tour.

Although they were wrong for sneaking around they did uncover their shenanigans. Wonder if the rock will prove the same as far as noises, etc? I have also heard this (although just rumor) about Eastern State among other places.

Has anyone else heard things like this?

Not sure, we see how long it took them (TAPS) to get clearance to come in and investigate. I'm not sure what they're operating hours are, but to the best of my knowledge they do tours all year round daily…could be wrong about that. The thing about Alcatraz is that it's a really old location and is exposed to some harsh conditions…windy, salt water etc. There are areas that are in disrepair and highly dangerous…speaking of which, Hey Sithy & MK how'd you like that nice up hill walk above the dock?

My favorite place in Alcatraz is the floor where the grenades went off to quell

the riot. I bet that was a meat grinder. Dropping grenades into a concrete box full

of people. Those old school correctional guys knew how to get an inmates attention!

Because then everyone would have thought it as a DT show.

Com'on now! If you heard Josh's name in the beginning you would forget all about the… Hmmm… who is the team investigating Alacatraz? LOL

I didn't know until last night, first time I've watched GHI in awhile, then turned it off.

These shows just aren't doing it for me anymore.

I'll probably tune in for the location and Josh. Have always been fascinated with Alcatraz.

I liked the paranormal show on Nat Geo, it's scientific and interesting.

Really?! None of you are going to say it? (takes a deep breath and exhales slowly) I'd like to go on the record and say that Jamaican claims of hauntings should be thought out a little better, I mean c'mon man it's JAMAICA!!! They get a killer strain of the kush down there and naturally they're seeing things. Hey Mon, my bong is haunted, I put some weed in there and now it's gone…puh leeease.

I'll have to watch for a re-run. Rose Hall is one of the few places where I've seen something that I can't explain and of course I didn't have a camera handy.
