C'mon someone has to know something I have seen three advertisements

for it so far. It looks like it could be a winner but I haven't seen or heard

anything other than the 15 second promos by the Discovery Channel ?

SCHULTZ cracks me up he is my HERO ! Plus he's probably what I will look

like when I grow up someday. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

Okay, I did a quick search and didn't find much. I even searched Discovery's website and the results came up with nada. All I found was a tiny summary of the show. I'll update if I find more.

DISCOVERY CHANNEL TACKLES UNEXPLAINED PHENOMENA WITH ALL-NEW SERIES GHOST LAB TO PREMIERE OCTOBER 6

-- Klinge Brothers Use High Tech Mobile Lab and Noted Historical Experts to Test Scientific Theories --

(Silver Spring, Md.) – With the help of the latest technology, two brothers have uncovered some of the most intriguing results in supernatural research to date – including a possible recording of Civil War soldiers talking. Meet Brad and Barry Klinge, Texas natives who in 2007 founded Everyday Paranormal, an investigation team that has explored more than 70 locations and given a new twist to paranormal research. The Klinges and their team of investigators are featured in the all-new 13-part series GHOST LAB, to premiere Tuesday, October 6 at 10PM E/P on Discovery Channel.

The Klinge brothers tackle what are thought to be some of America's most haunted locations with sophisticated equipment housed in a decked-out travelling "ghost lab." This 24-foot car hauler is capable of providing 200,000 watts of electricity to power audio, video and photo analysis stations; flat-screen televisions and an interactive touch-screen smartboard. The lab also houses surveillance video cameras capable of shooting 300 feet away in total darkness with a 180-degree peripheral view; temperature, humidity and dew point data loggers; various digital cameras, including thermal imaging cameras; audio recorders; and more than 8,000 feet of video cable. This on-site high-tech lab enables investigators to analyze data on the premises in real time, helping them to more narrowly focus their investigations on suspected "hot spots."

The team also consults with some of the world's foremost specialists in science measurements to devise and test theories during their investigations. Is there more "ghost activity" around water? Are spirits attached to specific items or locations? Is there a parallel universe?

Some of the locations the Klinge brothers investigate on GHOST LAB include Tombstone, Ariz., home to some of the most violent deaths in history; Shreveport Municipal Auditorium, where Elvis got his start; and Granbury Opera House where, according to legend, John Wilkes Booth changed his name to John St. Helen and performed Shakespeare after assassinating President Lincoln.

GHOST LAB is produced for Discovery Channel by Go Go Lucky Entertainment, where Gary Auerbach is the executive producer, with Paper Route Productions, where Alan LaGarde is the executive producer. For Discovery Channel, Tim Pastore is executive producer.

Your welcome. It actually looks quite interesting, and I'm watching Discovery half the time anyway, so I'll watch it. I hope it's better than what's out right now.

I guess the money for doing a syndicated show isn't what it used to be?

I might send them ten pesos….if they can make me laugh! /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' /> Can't we

just follow them for free on Discovery Channel? /blink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

Another show? It looks like the same old thing to me. Scientific methods??? What is that supposed to mean? Every group you see says the same thing. So, they have more and bigger stuff to do the same thing the kid with a cool pix camera does? Already I am bored but not to the point I won't watch, however. Everybody gets the benefit of doubt but it reminds me of the quote… Any intelligent person can make things bigger and more complex… It takes a touch of genius — and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction. Why do people think everything needs to be more complex? Simpler IS better…

I also really hate those who try to look tough in their photos. Why? Where are the nice people?

I know it looks like they want your lunch money or something! Let's just hope

they really put that huge budget to work productively. I'm gonna give them the

benefit of the doubt just because they are Texans. I'll give them the benefit of

doubt just not my ten Pesos !

Yup, I'm there. I'll give the show a chance.

But, I think GB has a point, now that I think about it.

These photo shoots for these paranormal shows, pout, look angry, raise eyebrow, show us more nasty look in the camera. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> Fold arms.

Why, why, why. If you think about it, who really wants an angry paranormal investiagtor. I have to laugh!

These guys are big Texas boys, sort of The A Team of paranormal.

Oh well, I'll be ready for the paranormal granny show. Off to buy walker! /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

I see that old nut of a location, Tombstone AZ is on the list. I am impressed to see a few new ones…except theaters are usually boring sites whose acoustics and general largeness affect any "evidence" that might be gathered.

Hopefully they'll rerun it in the middle of the night so I can get a look.

You see a lot of this these days. Looks more like the cover photo for a Gangsta Rap album. LOL Then again maybe that is what they like these days. To them I am an old man but even so I am not sure they would be my first pick to come into my home by that photo. I mean, why do you have to be a tough guy to investigate? Oh well, to each his own.

I am however, envious of the idea of a mobile analysis vehicle. Although I still feel simpler is better. I always thought if I won the lottery I would love to have one of those big motor home busses set up for Investigations and a place to stay all in one. Well, not too much longer. I hope it is good. We shall see…

Agreed.

However, this has me confused: "…and Granbury Opera House where, according to legend, John Wilkes Booth changed his name to John St. Helen and performed Shakespeare after assassinating President Lincoln."

Didn't Booth break his leg jumping off the balcony and spent a week in a swamp trying to get back to VA? Seems odd that with his injury, coupled with being the most wanted man in America, that he would risk doing a Shakespeare play…

Two of show biz' greatest axioms….break a leg and the show must go on….taken to the extreme.

I'll give the show a shot of course, but just offhand they appear like just another para-celeb money making venture to me.

Paranation citizen memberships fees, T-shirts for sale.. geez, what else? /dry.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

Oh yeah, the classic "tough guy" picture. I guess they mean business, huh!

I don't know, I'd feel more confident about their use of all that technology if they looked less like pro wrestlers and more like geeks.

It remains to be seen if they're just throwing money at the investigation, or truly doing something unique with all that tech. (Gotta wonder how much EMF that mobile lab creates itself!)

Since they mentioned the ubiquitous thermal imager though, I suspect the former.

But we'll see.

I'll give it a shot as well since it does have some Texans in it. Plus the only thing on Tuesday nights is NCIS so just as long as I don't miss that one.
