Just wanted to remind those interested to check out Paranormal State right after Psychic Kids tonight. I believe it is 10:00 EST maybe or 9:00 one? In the preview they show Chip Coffey with a red blind fold on so get ready for some drama. They don't fake anything I've noticed but take superficial actions and derive unfounded conclusion in my opinion. The show is interesting enough to most folks who like paranormal but has a darker edge than say GH and GA. /wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

"They insisted that the victim animals simply had died of dog bites from dogs or other animals. They suggested that disease might have been responsible for one animal's death. They denied that the victims had been exsanguinated, as many witnesses had claimed, and even suggested that the puncture wounds reported might be from barbed wire. Callers reminded them that some wounds were deep enough to reach into the victims' lungs, that the flesh was not torn as in dog bites, that signs of struggles were inexplicably missing, and that corpses did not decay normally, but their arguments were brushed aside. Also brushed aside were callers' attempts to bring extraterrestrials into the conversation.

When the recording ended. I rewound it and played it again and again. I still could not believe what I was hearing. The callers had the skeptics pinned against the ropes from the very first call." - Scott Corrales

Hi DD, yup I'm watching. Chip in a red blind fold, what more could a girl ask for. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

I guess they went to Tuesday night. I understand this is the last season for the show.

Aw…..I wish I had cable I love that show *cries* :'(

Remember, dogs and cats are better than kids because they:

(1) eat less,

(2) don’t ask for money all the time,

(3) are easier to train,

(4) normally come when called,

(5) never ask to drive the car,

(6) don’t smoke or drink,

(7) don’t want to wear your clothes,

(8) don’t have to buy the latest fashions,

(9) don’t need a gazillion dollars for college and

(10) if they get pregnant, you can sell their children ..

Well SFTD there was no Chip Coffey? Strange but hey there was Lorraine Warren the well known charlatan. It was disappointing to me. Became more about a possession than a haunting. I'm not Catholic so I don't understand all the demonic stuff and how much credence there was to this particular person but prefer the episodes about hauntings. Does Lorraine Warren actually have any psychic ability? /rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

I can't say for sure,. but as many times as I've seen her and Ed in different shows, my educated guess is no bloody way. Those two have been scamming people into being afraid of "Demons" since I was a youngster and I've yet to see any physical evidence of their claims. The scarey part is that I think they actually believe what the say.

I am, or was actually, Roman Catholic and I've studied demonology off and on for quite a while. Anyone with a elementary knowledge of catholicism can boast the same claims the Warrens make. I'm not saying there is no such thing, I don't know if there are or not. But I do know, with shows like paranormal state. it's pretty bloody convenient that a demon or devil of the supposed highest order is messing around with whats his name. The leader of the group. I liken it to saying "I was Napoleon in a past life". Really? Napoleon? Not just a poor farmer or soldier? It seems its always Satan himself, or Belial, or Beelzebub, or Baphomet. Never a lesser demon or just a damned soul.

The show is kind of entertaining, but to me not at all believable. And to keep interjecting Christian themes is just maddening. If the Roman Catholic Church called in that kid to do anything but mop a floor I'll go to Rome and kiss the pope square on the arse.

I apologize if I upset anyone sensibilities, but shows like that just drive me nutz.

i've never heard anyone who claimed to be reincarnated to be anyone but someone famous either. everyone, it seems, was Hannibal, Napoleon, Anastasia, Cleopatra etc. as you say, what about the billions of people who have existed for millenia? is there a lottery or something where they spin a wheel and only the 'big baddies of demons' or meglomaniacs who want to rule the world can play?? and a sign saying "no normal twonks need apply for reincarnation as nobody wants to be you!"

it's the same with 'Jesus Chips' on eBay: why is it never someone's dear great, great uncle on the dam potato chip. and why would what many to believe is the saviour of the world appear on a dam pringle??? none of it makes sense to me.

best,

annie

the latest episode i saw of paranormal state was the central nj case w/Lorraine Warren and I have to admit the guy's line when they asked him if he gets really angry…he said something to the effect of "yeah, I get really mad, especially when I have to deal w/stupid people". I didn't stop laughing for like 10 minutes…I was thinking of adding it to my siggy here.

I was duped, I saw him in the promo's too. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' /> Lorraine is the least interesting entertainment wise out of the three psychic for me.

Turned the channel about half way into the show, DD. The show was geting way out there for me.

I'll see what this week brings. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
