I got a new book for Christmas, one of the few paranormal things I got this year. It's called Encyclopedia of Haunted Places: Ghostly Locales from around the world by Jeff Belanger. It's pretty thick and gives run downs of haunted places. There are a few that are not in it that I thought would be like Lemp Mansion but it has a ton of other places that I didn't know about. It's broken down in geological areas and includes addresses, phone numbers and websites for the places. I think I will use this book to plan our spring trip, hitting multiple places while traveling.

Overall I like the book and will keep it in the front of my collection for reference material. Not a bad choice by my wife, she surprises me at times.

Very cool. I hope it turns out to be a good research tool for you.

See? Xmas is good for something!!

Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try.

That which is unchallenged and exercised as habit rapidly becomes ritual.

When this occurs, dissent becomes an object of surprise, if not resentment.

Just picked up the second edition myself. Check out the photo credits for Ft. Washita in Oklahoma. Pity that the site is now closed to paranormal investigation.

Oh – I have this book. I don't think I have the second edition though – so now I'm behind. /blink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

Took me completely by surprise, lol. The director of an old group I belonged with submitted it for the first edition.

I did get to chat briefly with Jeff Belanger. His ITC presentation is pretty good as well.
