This looks interesting . . .

"MysteryQuest is a new series that dispatches teams of experts throughout the world to try to solve some of mankind's strangest and most persistent mysteries. Top experts in their fields launch expeditions to gather evidence in mysteries like the Bermuda Triangle, the Zodiac serial killer, and Atlantis. A science team then conducts a forensic examination of the evidence using the latest technologies. Each episode presents a thorough step-by-step investigation of the mystery and by the end the teams reveal results that in some cases just may re-write history.

With the first episode of MysteryQuest, History is taking no chances and is combining a double-dose of ratings gold into one. Not only do we have an unexplained mystery, but that mystery has to do with History’s old ratings go-to guy, Adolf Hitler. “Hitler’s Skull” ponders whether evidence taken from the Fuhrer’s bunker by Russians after the war, and revealed in the 1990s, can prove that Hitler actually died there, since some seem to believe that he managed to escape."

Premieres: September 16

Airs: Wednesdays, 10pm

Who says the History channel is full of crap programming. This looks excellent. I just hope it's done in the right way. It could be very dry and boring despite the subject matter. Does look cool though.

Thanks for the find.

That which is unchallenged and exercised as habit rapidly becomes ritual.

When this occurs, dissent becomes an object of surprise, if not resentment.

I love the history channel. They have some really good programming. They did a Haunted History show that was pretty good as well. I don't know if new episodes are still being made though.

Did anyone catch these episodes? I was switching back and forth with Destination Truth so did not see too much on the Bermuda Triangle and the episode on Hitler did not exactly peak my interest. Did they present any new disappearances in the triangle or any lost planes or ships that evidence has been found. I was hoping it was not all about theories and had some new data. /unsure.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

"They insisted that the victim animals simply had died of dog bites from dogs or other animals. They suggested that disease might have been responsible for one animal's death. They denied that the victims had been exsanguinated, as many witnesses had claimed, and even suggested that the puncture wounds reported might be from barbed wire. Callers reminded them that some wounds were deep enough to reach into the victims' lungs, that the flesh was not torn as in dog bites, that signs of struggles were inexplicably missing, and that corpses did not decay normally, but their arguments were brushed aside. Also brushed aside were callers' attempts to bring extraterrestrials into the conversation.

When the recording ended. I rewound it and played it again and again. I still could not believe what I was hearing. The callers had the skeptics pinned against the ropes from the very first call." - Scott Corrales

I fell asleep. I remember them in the water, very shallow they could stand. They should over 40 plane wrecks, and were looking for the registered numbers off the planes. It looked like a plane grave yard in the water. That's all I remember. The show seems to have the Monster Quest format.

I looked on demand, but found nothing for it.

Thanks SFTD, It is definitely the same narrator and similar format. What little I saw looked like some rehashing Flight 19, Cyclops. etc. There are a bunch of planes submerged along the east coast of Florida but they are mostly from drug runners. Good idea to check for ID numbers to see if they match any missing logged as Triangle victims. Briefly saw were they were going to check readings in reference to an electromagnetic fog but did not see any new conclusions or discoveries? I find this stuff really fascinating but didn't want to miss too much Jael, I mean Destination Truth. /wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

D D, I like these type of shows, also. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> I was hoping for a little different format from Monster Quest.

I still watch Moster Quest, though. lol I get sucked in, but sometimes they go around in circles.

Sort of never a follow up, on a few things in some episodes. But, I still watch each week. /biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

There is just a lack of these types of programs. Which is why I wish DT, doesn't go the paranormal route, but guess they have. /wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

I hope Discovery puts Mystery Quest on demand, I forget to DVR. lol

I was flicking back and forth.

I turned off the Hitler epi, just didn't catch my interest.
