Just curious if anyone caught this episode. I thought the title was misleading. I assumed it was about the so called lizard man that was reported in South Carolina over the last decade or so. It actually revolved around the famous 1952 event in West Virginia involving the "Flatwoods Monster". I was not aware that sightings are still occurring in this area. I assumed it was a one time occurrence. Some reason they included the skull of the "Starchild" in this episode, I guess it was to add some actual physical evidence of something unusual to add substance to the episode. Nothing really absolute noted, it was interesting enough. Of course they had Joe Nichols, the noted skeptic, on there and he tried to portray everyone as either hallucinating or misidentifying a known creature. The reports on this entity are so different from any known creature that I just don't see how people could confuse it with any known being. I am not denying people mistake natural animals or anomalies for something unknown but this thing is just so far from the norm it just doesn't seem likely to be confused with such.

"They insisted that the victim animals simply had died of dog bites from dogs or other animals. They suggested that disease might have been responsible for one animal's death. They denied that the victims had been exsanguinated, as many witnesses had claimed, and even suggested that the puncture wounds reported might be from barbed wire. Callers reminded them that some wounds were deep enough to reach into the victims' lungs, that the flesh was not torn as in dog bites, that signs of struggles were inexplicably missing, and that corpses did not decay normally, but their arguments were brushed aside. Also brushed aside were callers' attempts to bring extraterrestrials into the conversation.

When the recording ended. I rewound it and played it again and again. I still could not believe what I was hearing. The callers had the skeptics pinned against the ropes from the very first call." - Scott Corrales
