Yup but it needs drama, imo. Look at the Apprentice. These contestannts need to be cut throat, and willing to do anything to win, imo. I want to be entertained. Jay said it's not game show, but the winner gets a prize, to investigate with them.

I don't think you Andy, or any other investigator here would train investigators in the way they did on the show.

The producion company had a casting call for Ghost Hunters Academy, that says it all to me.

I'm sure Andy that's what you do when you look for a new investigator to train. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

The show seems, some what scripted and the out come predetermined from the start.

Maybe the show should of been called, How do I please Steve. /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

That's what they need….DONALD TRUMP ! And the judges agree….

HATED IT!!!

Did anyone see last night’s episodes. One was of the St Augustine Lighthouse? Is Steve on a severe power trip or am I being too critical?

You are not. Steve has NO business treating people like that.

It looks like he is, or pilgrim wants him to look way.

Either way, it's how he comes across.

Do these people care about their image.

I still think the show can be saved if they start throwing the rejects off the RV as it's throttling down the highway.

So, I was flipping channels late last night and a replay of GHA at a lighthouse was on.

Well, anyway, Steve was jumping all over a guy named Chris about learning the paranormal history of the area before investigating, etc.

Steve was doing this. Steve … who was banging a wet mop against a locked door at one of GH's recent investigations and who says that reading is not fundamental . . . yeah . . . /blink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

He was being an egomaniac! That's what kills me about Steve, and the rest of them for that matter, they have ALL been where these guys are now, just the newbie with only half a clue. You would think they would treat these guys a bit better.

Steve says that there are "trust issues" with Jane and that they've been down that road before, ala Brian, so why is she still there? She should have gone home with Chris last night.

Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try.

Any thoughts on the end result of the show?

I was happy that Karl got a spot on the GHI team. Not to sure about Susan though. Seems unfair that they tossed two of them to the GHI team.

The others who were asked back seemed odd to me. Seems a bit like a cop-out to me in that arena, although I like the ones that are coming back.

I was all too happy to see Jane get booted. What a snarky little wench. Throwing people under the bus, lying about her experience and the crying! Ugh! I hated the crying.

All in all, I think the show just pointed out what we all already knew: Steve and Tango are complete a-holes and egomaniacs.

I still think it makes for good t.v. though. Some of my best laughs have come from that show this season.

Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try.

GHA was never about giving the best a chance to show their stuff. Because if it was about that then there would have been some cadets there in their 30s, 40s, 50s or even 60s. This is a show about drawing the young crowd. Its about showing how smart and experienced Steve and Tango are. Not about finding qualified applicants. TAPS does not want people with experience in paranormal investigations on the show because they might show up and tell Steve…"Steve you don't know what you're talking about. I've been doing this for 30 years." Its the TAPS way or the highway.

I'm not always right but I'm never wrong.

The above are my opinions.

Steve and Tango, aka, the magus and mr. chicken, had to be the worst possible choices for this show. I can see pilgrim sitting around asking who they could throw under the bus with a potentially lame duck of a show. I have to admit though, by the end it did get slightly, and I mean slightly better.

In my opinion, its not worth the budget.

Steve's an inbred, egocentric, hypocritical donkey and Tango has got to be the biggest yes man I've ever seen. They complain about the lil geek kid being lead by the nose and then Tango turns around and parrots Steve on dang near everything.

I have to wonder if Jay and Grant just got tired of them in general and shipped them off to dorkville just to be rid of them for a while. I think they're liking Britt and Woodstock (I forget his name) on the job recently.

I caught the last 15 minutes of the last epi, have not been following the whole season.

Just wanted to see who won. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I can't help wonder what changes or effect it will have on the GHI team, with two new members on board for the show.

Out of all three shows GHI is still the one I watch. It's already had too many cast changes, imo.

I agree completely. There is no way they would allow a seasoned investigator to apply for the show. Even on GH, all of the "guest stars" are people not connected to the paranormal world, this way they don't know any better when Jay and Grant tell them something.

Steve's an inbred, egocentric, hypocritical donkey and Tango has got to be the biggest yes man I've ever seen. They complain about the lil geek kid being lead by the nose and then Tango turns around and parrots Steve on dang near everything.

This bugged me too. All Tango does is parrot Steve and then Steve has the nerve to criticize Ben for it. WTF? What a total hypocrite.

Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try.

.

MK, I watched the first couple and you aren't missing too much. Like NYPD noted it is to attract a certain group of demographics, mostly college aged kids & young adults. I tried to like it but just wasn't interesting enough.

"They insisted that the victim animals simply had died of dog bites from dogs or other animals. They suggested that disease might have been responsible for one animal's death. They denied that the victims had been exsanguinated, as many witnesses had claimed, and even suggested that the puncture wounds reported might be from barbed wire. Callers reminded them that some wounds were deep enough to reach into the victims' lungs, that the flesh was not torn as in dog bites, that signs of struggles were inexplicably missing, and that corpses did not decay normally, but their arguments were brushed aside. Also brushed aside were callers' attempts to bring extraterrestrials into the conversation.

When the recording ended. I rewound it and played it again and again. I still could not believe what I was hearing. The callers had the skeptics pinned against the ropes from the very first call." - Scott Corrales
