Looks like Aaron, Zak and Nick were in Clovis. This is a pretty well known site for activity. I believe some of the posters on here or Skiffy have been there. I know the Fresno Time Lord promotes this place. Does anyone have any insight on some of the goings on here? Show airs this Friday.

"They insisted that the victim animals simply had died of dog bites from dogs or other animals. They suggested that disease might have been responsible for one animal's death. They denied that the victims had been exsanguinated, as many witnesses had claimed, and even suggested that the puncture wounds reported might be from barbed wire. Callers reminded them that some wounds were deep enough to reach into the victims' lungs, that the flesh was not torn as in dog bites, that signs of struggles were inexplicably missing, and that corpses did not decay normally, but their arguments were brushed aside. Also brushed aside were callers' attempts to bring extraterrestrials into the conversation.

When the recording ended. I rewound it and played it again and again. I still could not believe what I was hearing. The callers had the skeptics pinned against the ropes from the very first call." - Scott Corrales

Isnt this the place that use to be a Haunted House attraction?

Oh wait – is that the place that FTL promotes regularly because he is a volunteer there or something?

I thought I saw an addy for this one! Didn't know if it was last week or this coming week…

Yes the FresnoTimeLord now has another feather in his cap for paraceleb investigations in his favorite haunted house. Mind you, not mocking his convictions, but that GH investigation was a joke. Papers falling off of a box? Puh-lease, if you could see the avalanches that occur randomly on a daily basis from my desk, you would understand that it does JUST HAPPEN and you can't necessarily recreate this by stomping around on the floor.

I believe they do a webcast from Wolfe Manor weekly…or at least they did two years ago.

And if one more person looks in the mirror and says that name…he will show up!

Add on: (and on topic!) can't wait to see the boys whooping and hollering through this one!

Oh not that, I beg of you….Clovis should be struck from ANY conversation happening here after the debacle that happened over there…what a joke. Without ripping open old wounds, what made that situation deplorable was the inability of that person to understand why people weren't willing to blindly accept what he had to say about the place after he revealed himself to be a volunteer/employee there.

Oh where do I start?

I remember reading a local newspaper article when TAPS visited the place. The majority of the locals that left comments were statements like the place was reported haunted until the current owner moved in, and various things like that. FTL has linked youtube videos of reported activity but all of them were quickly shot down as fake. I think the last one was a ball rolling on a counter top. Someone quickly added that they could hear the paper being pulled from underneath it. This was a valid post since you could hear the paper and couldn't see the left side of the counter.

I've noticed now that when FTL posts over at the forum-that-shall-not-be-named that no one responds back. He has a strong conviction of the place since he is connected with it. I don't have an issue there but when you ask for an opinion and get a negative response you should accept it and move on. FTL did not.

My main problem with the location is it used to be a horror house for profit. Upon hearing that the place is reportedly haunted after this just sets off alarms in my head. If I was closer to Clovis I would love to do an undercover investigation, just to see what I could find.

I will probably watch the GA episode just to see but I take anything found with a grain of salt. Not because of the investigators but because of the location.

Good, I'm glad it was someone here. I couldn't remember and I really didn't want to go and have to look it up.

I woke up the other night, and saw the guy who owns Wolfe Manor, or Clovis on tv.

Don't remember the channel or show, though.

I also think GA going there may be to put their investigative touch on the location, for the viewing audience.

Different way of doing things than GH.

I may not watch that one, in fact I may have already deleted it from the DVR. I've been doing that a lot lately w/most of the paranormal programming I used to enjoy watching. Declining interest and time has curbed my enthusiasm for this type of faire.

Unfortunately I was having a hard time keeping the eyes open Friday night during the episode. It had nothing to do with the show I was just sleepy for some reason. I do recall where they caught an EMF spike and had the sense to put 2 meters side by side to show it was not a defect. The place had no power either. Some of the EMF's were relatively clear and some were not. They do allow local paranormal groups to tell some of their tales and I don't recall GH doing such. Seemed like a reasonably active night. I hope some one can elaborate more since I slept through part of it. /wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I watched the episode, and it was the normal GA show. They seemed to get some decent evp's, and I liked the new camera they were using….thats why I like GA, they are not afraid to use new equipment…you have to experiment new things to substantiate what works and provides results and what does not….especially if you want validity on the scientific side of your investigations…

I am curious as to what others thought of this episode…

i think its the same camera, but I like the fact that like ghi, they like to and look forward to trying new equipment, not just the same boring questionable KII meter like that other group….

That full spectrum camera (a "real" full spectrum camera) was the creation of Andy Coppock. He is very busy with all things taps so that is very likely the one you saw on GHI.

After scouring the internet, I was able to get clear enough pictures to see the markings on the side of the camera. They were of no help, as it appears to be a one-off highly modified creation. I cannot even find what platform it is based off of. It looks like some great things were happening. That excitement is tempered by the fact that this is very new technology, and the specifications of the camera and it's operation are not known. The light anomalies may simply be IR blooming bleeding through from the crazy-long exposure time necessary for the uv portion of the camera.

Good episode, though. Better than average evp's (quality wise) when compared to other ep's.

Andy

I too found it to be a typical GA episode. Entertaining but it left me empty as always. I know the lady sensitive that was at the beginning of the show from around the internet.

The new gadget isn't new and yes it is the same type thing that Barry used on GHI. The problem I see with full spectrum is what does it really show you? NASA uses the same principal when photographing with Hubble. Here is a photo with and without.

Didn't find the EMF thing impressive but then I am not a fan of gadgets. Wish they would do their homework first. The power doesn't need to be on to get a reading. I guess some need something to register, light up or beep to make things interesting. Not that I am against new ideas or equipment, far from it but when they don't really tell you anything… Well, to each his own.

I'm glad to see that I am not the only one who can never hear their EVPs or see the anomalies they capture on film.
