Cool, thanks. I saw the throw but I hadn't seen anything else.

After watching the clip, it wasn't much of a confrontation. It was merely a questioning. I was kinda expecting a shouting session.

I hoped for more, but seeing as how Zac hadn't yet seen the footage, he handled it appropriately. This friday they are doing a special recapping high points of the invest. I hope the gloves come off. I listened to the first part of the darkness radio podcast and Dave wasn't very forthcoming with any form of judgement, waiting to comment further until all the data was in and analyzed. No matter, though, it was clearly evident that it was a throw. Too bad…

I talked with the Travel Channel. On Friday they are going to have a live event post mortem show where they will discuss their investigation and "the throw." Just so you all know.

Awesome. Thanks for the info.

Here's the full skinny (from the Travel Channel):

This Friday at 8pm we are premiering 'Ghost Adventures Live Post Mortem.' During this round table discussion, the guys will discuss the event, share their personal experiences, review footage, and talk about the best moments. They will also be discussing the 'throw incident.'

At least I feel like we'll get the real story, not some glossed over version. I hope I'm right about that.

Watched the Penhurst episode tonight…best yet. Also caught the live event post mortem special and I have to say they did a good job of distancing themselves from Mr. Bess. The avoided the need to say he threw it, yet made it clear they concluded it was a non-paranormal event. Pretty professional. Can't wait until next week's episode…

Yeah – Cheryl and I were discussing how well they distanced without out flat out saying, "It was a throw." I actually thought they handled it quite well.

I really enjoyed this episode. Not, that far from Pennhurst and remember the news coverage, and trial, then being shut down.

The place is very creepy looking and horrible things have happened in it's walls.

Throw incident was handled well with no drama.

I tip my hat to them.

Is it me, or does it seem like the Penhurst episode looked better than previous episodes. Almost as if they had a larger budget. I just got travel channel added to my HD package, so that might be it, but it seemed to me this episode had a much more professional, polished feel to it. Might have just been my imagination and love for HD.

Minus the paranormal aspect, and looking at production value, I think this show is the best.

I have to remember they are film students.

I find the hd GHI video very grainy and hard to watch at times.

Loved the Pennhurst location.

I was actually noticing that they have toned down some of the uber hyperactivity – I watched the Bobby Mackey's episode right after the Penhurst episode – and really, they seem to have calmed down somewhat while still staying entertaining.

I didn't bother dvr-ing it. I didn't want any tuner conflicts interfering w/me watching my beloved phillies getting killed by the yankees, in hind sight I probably should've watched it…sheesh!

Upon further review, I've decided to remove Ghost Adventures from my DVR recording schedue altogether. Just not feeling the show anymore although it is still more palatable then the Ghost Punters (barely). I've noticed G-money wearing a Spaulding Inn t-shirt. So sad what it's become across the board!

So on the Penhurst show, what did everyone think of the "moving coat/hat rack?"

I am not sure, I will have to rewatch it. It seems like they drove a long way to explain that, but Zac was sufficiently excited. I am just wondering if the commotion caused it to slide or something. I will definitely rewatch it. To me, the desk was the star of the show.

EDIT: OK, I was able to watch the coat rack moment several times. My opinion is that Zac hit the feet which still appeared to be sticking out away from the wall enough to make it possible. I have several problems with this moment as well. After they pass the coat rack initially, they should have kept showing the footage from Nick's camera as it followed Zac. The switched to Zac's video ovilus cam and ruined the continuity of the shot. What gets me is that it was edited that way, so they knew of the supposed anomaly, the location of the coat rack, and yet they still chose to break the continuity of the shot to switch to an irrelevant shot from the video ovilus. If they knew it was going to be an issue, and they obviously did, they should have included that shot to keep people from speculating that it was manipulated by another person. With both Zac and Aaron in the shot, it would be evident that no one else manipulated the coat rack, but since they chose to break up the shot, people are going to call foul play.

This brings me to my second problem. Aaron was visibly taking footage during the event. Where is it? You can see his camera was on, so by not including Aaron's footage, it raises red flags. For the sake of dispelling the naysayers, I think that they should include Aaron's footage of the event, even if it doesn't show anything that may have caused the coat rack to fall. It would alleviate the worries of the doubters and go a long way towards maintaining the integrity of the event. I would like to see a continuous shot of Nick's camera from the time they first passed by the coat rack to the time it slid and hit Zac. I would also like to see Aaron's footage even if it doesn't show anything. I would also like to see the video ovilus footage for the entire duration of the event, not just the blurry second when Zac got hit.

That's it, that would satisfy me, lol. I don't think that there was any outright fakery going on here, but I think there is a good chance that it was just an accident and that it may have been played up for some sort of grand finale of the episode.

Watched the youtube clip – love that they got Dean Haglund from X-Files to host! Too funny!
