Well, i agree with everything that is being said about ghi…its blatantly obvious that this show was failing, and in an effort to keep it going, the powers to be thought it would be wise to inject a little "sex" into the equation (Kris) to keep the show afloat. I mean come on, its obvious she was choosen for her looks and not about her "abilities" to investigate. I saw a preview (not a subscriber) of the December issue of the TAPS magazine…on the cover was Kris with 8 inches of cleavage showing in full view, big as day, advertising she was the new member of ghi….it does not take a genius to see what they are trying to do…that in itself makes me not to watch the new episodes. To be honest i did catch the first episode to only fall asleep 15 minutes in….I did applaud the show when Robb was in it because I thought they did try and they did not seem to try to fabricate evidence….

My two cents….please do not ask for change.

Wow! I have not watched in a long time. Last time I watched Kris was in no makeup, covered up, and wearing glasses.

The show just went the sex route, oie! From the way their selling it on the show, yawn as I have my own. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

They need to get people on these shows with charisma, doesn't matter what people lool like. It's the way one presents themselves,

sense of humor, crooked smile, abilty to poke fun at ones self, courage, intelligence, and never coming off as a jerk. For me,

charisma is the ultimate sexy, and has nothing to do with looks. Josh Gates just oozes with it. Most men like him, he a man's man and women love him. He's slightly balding and maybe a little over weight, by todays tv sex standards, but he's sexy to the max.

I think Keith Richards is sexy, too. He oozes charisma, and his wrinkles make him interesting and tell a life time of stories.

Age has no boundries, on charisma.

I'm out of the loop, with Robb and Brandy gone I'll probably not watch, they seemed to have the best investigative skills of either show.

Well, call me crazy but I actually enjoyed Ghost Hunter's last night. They were invited down to Louisiana to investigate 3 sites in the town and the reveal was done in a town hall setting. It was pretty entertaining if I do say so myself. Jay didn't even get on my nerves. Did anyone else watch?

I watched last night but thought the reveal fell far short of being as exciting as they portrayed. However, I like the angel of doing several places in a town.

GB, my expectations were so low that it was just refreshing to see the formula changed a little bit. I agree with the angle of a 3 for 1 was a very good idea even though it was the town and not GH that came up with it. I am guessing that the town will have a surge in tourist dollars from this show, which is good for them. It really does look like an interesting place to visit. I liked watching the faces of the folks in the town hall during the reveal, they were so excited to be there. This was way better than those corny GH sitting on couches and fans in the audience at the local holiday inn with Josh hosting the Q & A specials.

ok Milo you are crazy….(you told us to call you that) I watched it due to lack of Wednesday night programming…they seemed to freshen up the show a little with a snazzy new intro and cooler graphics, etc….I'm just still not impressed with the same use of dated equipment that many have proved is still not effective (K2)….personally, it just gets aggravating to have the crew see all these things away from the cameras angle and all these shadows and apparitions, but of course we never get to see that….I know equipment exists that they can use to help capture some of what they "see"….I did notice the new van these use now…looks like a nice Sprinter, should give them more room as a command central….

I think it was all a ploy to drum up tourist business….since the hotel was closed in 2004 and they have plans to redo and reopen it.

Gotta give the town credit for trying… /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Yeah, you guys are probably right. As far as equipment goes, I have no clue what is new. I am glad that they didn't do the flashlight thing though (maybe they did it when I "in dispose"- either way, I didn't see it!). It's kind of like rooting for the ancient rocker who still has to tour to pay off his debt to the IRS. I keep wanting them to do good despite the end product. Bear with me as I continue my slow mo phase of acceptance (at least I'm not in denial anymore). /unsure.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

I have to agree with the fact that they want to be on camera more than filming the ghosts. I am sick of hearing, "Did you see that?" I still scream at the TV, "NO! Because the camera is always on you!" lol My kids are even laughing at them now.

All that aside, I am seeing or at least getting the feeling their hearts just aren't in it anymore. They all seem to be just going through the motions to get through filming the episode. Maybe it's just me.

So much equipment out there they could be using for "head" cams, I mean the clumsy attempt they done with the bulky miners hat with full size HD camera on it was a poor attempt imo…..I get advertisements all the time for small lightweight cameras that could be used….and with all their resources and connections this was the best they could do? come on….

But Gene, then everyone would know that they aren't seeing anything….

Course..most of us have known for a long, long time that they aren't seeing anything…. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

It would confirm it for those of us stuck in the acceptance phase. I want to see what they aren't seeing! /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

well i agree with Ghostbreakers, Im tired of hearing that phrase uttered over and over again…"Did you see that"….I swear if one of them dies, and I was asked to design their headstone, I would put that on it as their epitath…then wire up a K2 meter and install it on the headstone so we could still communicate with them…..once for yes, twice for no…..(pulling out hair)

Didn't watch it. Didn't have an urge to either even if I had been home to watch it. Maybe when I get home again I can think about it.

I think it is a matter of their reactions being more attention worthy than what they do see to the average GH viewer. Any shadows or masses they potentially see would be difficult to discern. Cameras nowadays can be easily small enough to be mounted anywhere in a visual direction with just a simple head piece without any kind of hat or helmet. GH is becoming more of a "show" than about finding evidence season by season. /wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

"They insisted that the victim animals simply had died of dog bites from dogs or other animals. They suggested that disease might have been responsible for one animal's death. They denied that the victims had been exsanguinated, as many witnesses had claimed, and even suggested that the puncture wounds reported might be from barbed wire. Callers reminded them that some wounds were deep enough to reach into the victims' lungs, that the flesh was not torn as in dog bites, that signs of struggles were inexplicably missing, and that corpses did not decay normally, but their arguments were brushed aside. Also brushed aside were callers' attempts to bring extraterrestrials into the conversation.

When the recording ended. I rewound it and played it again and again. I still could not believe what I was hearing. The callers had the skeptics pinned against the ropes from the very first call." - Scott Corrales

I stopped watching Ghost Tourists er I mean Ghost Hunters over a year ago. GHI I saw last year but stopped when Robb left. It was to much of the same old stuff. I could watch a show from season say 4 and it will match what they are doing now. Or vice versa.

Why does this show stay on? Because they have a strong fan base that will deny all of the allaged fakery and call it jealousy. Others will call it apparant fakery. Since I think they don't open all of their videos for outside review then they can claim all their findings are legit.

In the end people will wise up and there will be a scandle that will make Halloween Collar Gate look small. Then everything will just fall apart on them.

Next up On SyFy Wednesday's at 9 PM: Atlantis Hunters. A team of electricians search the oceans for the lost Island of Atlantis.

I'm not always right but I'm never wrong.

The above are my opinions.
