I missed the first episode of GHI and you know, I can't believe how much I miss Robb. I only made it through part of Barry & Kris in a dark room and her going, and I'm paraphrasing here "like, omg Barry, there was the big, like thing that…" CLICK. I deleted the show and told Monkette to remove it from the DVR memory. Done with it. I'm down to Paranormal state and quite frankly, it's not the same w/out the Chipster! Not even Master Chin can save GHI from itself. Susan Slaughter…are you KIDDING ME???? Enough! If I want to watch that crap I'll wait for "Goths gone wild", bleh!

Oh my, tell us how you really feel, Monk! Just kidding, ya know. Who knows what new shows may tickle our fancy this new year. Hopefully, something will be worth watching.

I think we are seeing the beginning of the end of the fad that we call Paranormal TV.

I totally agree – I cannot help but wonder what would have happened had GH staid the course and kept well integrity in the program?

That too would have likely died, because people don't like the boring realities of paranormal investigation.

I agree with Ryan and Jj on this. It was very exciting and interesting but it has been played out. I can only wonder what is on the horizon.

Human Hunters! A team of ghosts that are looking for the humans that moved into another ghost's "residence". The cameras follow the "team" around as they try to scare the wits out of the new homeowners!

I LIKE IT! Draw up a Script outline and submit it to SyFy …

(Hey they put "Mary Knows Best" for at least 5 episodes. She got paid a little bit.)

This would be better then that! Far better….

They'll say it's too close to the Being Human show they stole from BBC.

I watched the first 10 seconds of GHI to see if Robb was there and when it was confirmed he wasn't I deleted it. He seemed to be doing the show for legit reasons. And then the show seemed to bring on Chris Williams for the T&A factor. Not that there is anything wrong with that but it shows what the producers and Jay and Grant want. A money making venture and not a way of bringing legitamate paranormal research to the masses.

Maybe Pilgrim can hire a few former Baywatch actresses to be on a new show…Ghost Hunters: Venice Beach

I'm not always right but I'm never wrong.

I like Ms. Williams. Just because she's pretty and has great hair doesn't mean that she isn't a competent ghost hunter. I always thought she did a good job on GH – she doesn't over-react to stuff and squeal like you would expect a "girl" to do. I like Amy for that reason, too.

I suspect that Grant and Jason's wives had something to do with her transfer overseas. Not many women would be comfortable with their moving into middle-age husbands working closely with a woman that looks like that, especially when they travel together. I always suspected that was the reason for Donna's exit, too. After that episode where Jason was so excited when she stopped by their job site unexpectedly, I knew that her days on the show were numbered.

I don't like it, but such are the realities of life. /sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I have heard tell from some sources that the folks that edit the shows for broadcast can either help or hurt you greatly. So I won't blame Kris for anything but will say that my opinion of her has diminished as time has worn on AS SHE IS PORTRAYED ON THE PROGRAMS. If she is being cast in a bad light by agenda driven editors then I'll be kind and say that she's young enough that she should be able to recover from this part of her career/public life.

We can only pray. I dont really mind GHI that much, but the rest, well…Might mean some closed sites can open their doors to research of the stigma that follows is waning or gone.

I did not want to imply that her looks made her any less of an investigator. I am sure she is a super investigator. It just seems that there are no "unatractive" females on the show. Regardless of their investigation abilities.

Oh and I am sure that when Jason called her "Sweetie" his wife had something to say.

I am also sure that if she was offended by anything or how she is portrayed on the screen she would have never renewed her contract. Granted I am not sure how long their contracts run for but hey it cant be a lifetime one.

I'm not always right but I'm never wrong.

Well, i agree with everything that is being said about ghi…its blatantly obvious that this show was failing, and in an effort to keep it going, the powers to be thought it would be wise to inject a little "sex" into the equation (Kris) to keep the show afloat. I mean come on, its obvious she was choosen for her looks and not about her "abilities" to investigate. I saw a preview (not a subscriber) of the December issue of the TAPS magazine…on the cover was Kris with 8 inches of cleavage showing in full view, big as day, advertising she was the new member of ghi….it does not take a genius to see what they are trying to do…that in itself makes me not to watch the new episodes. To be honest i did catch the first episode to only fall asleep 15 minutes in….I did applaud the show when Robb was in it because I thought they did try and they did not seem to try to fabricate evidence….

My two cents….please do not ask for change.

Hey, sex sells. There's a reason the people in ads are great looking – it works.

I can't complain, since I'd much rather look at nice looking people, too. If I'm completely honest, I don't know that I would like Ghost Adventures quite so much if the boys on there were not attractive. It's human nature: studies show that even infants prefer attractive people – they look longer at "pretty" faces than they do at unattractive ones. It's just born into us.

I guess I can't see the fuss about Chris since they just transferred a current staff member to a different team. It's not like they hired Megan Fox to be their new investigator. Frankly, I wish they'd hired someone with more sex appeal than Adam. What a wimp!

Maybe Adam is attractive to a different demographic! Must keep all the watchers happy!!
