When was I on TV? I don't remember. My brain blocks out these memories.

I think that's a line…he just doesn't want Heidi to know!

Am I the only one that saw Britt judging a cake show on The Food Network? Here's a synopsis of the show that was on tonight.

"Four cake designers come to Challenge to tell a real ghost story in cake. Based on personal experience, the cakes must be evocative as well as be outstanding technically. The competitor that can hit the mark with both their storytelling and cake skill will win ten thousand dollars."

Since when is he an "expert" on anything, let alone cake judging? /ohmy.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

I watched a part of the last one. Still as boring as GH has gotten.

I'll be happy when GL and GA return.

GA was in Gettysburg and GL in Fairfield, Pa a few weeks back. Wonder if the two investigations will be alike or different since they were relatively close.

GL did the Fairfield Inn and GA did the Jenny Wade house in G'burg. I'm personally interested in GL's show as I have an examination of 3 homes right across the street. Not sure when the air dates are though.

Oops! Now it's a GL & GA thread…

If it has Ghost in the title, it's good to talk about. Just don't mention Paranormal State.

I agree.

I have thought over time of how I have perceived and reacted to the TV shows and realized I have been harsh on them myself. Since then I have actually looked into several of them and found that TV was their main goal and they weren't discovered.

That kind of puts a different light on things. If you break it down, not one is doing any serious work and only dramatizing what they do for entertainment.

I watch most (except paranormal state) and am able to take them for what they are, entertaining. GHI has great locations, GA has Zak’s antics, GH gives most people an hour of looking for what they are going to try and get away with next, etc. The all have their entertainment value but to get upset at what they do would just look bad on me I think. I mean, does anyone who does this really compare themselves to the TV show people? Does anyone model themselves after any of them? Does anything they do actually reflect on you or what you do? It has no affect on me.

There is one thing I have found interesting in reference to the TV shows. I speak to a lot of people and I have several examinations coming up and not one person who truly believes they have a haunting watches the TV shows. Some have never even heard of most of them. Seems the only ones the shows affect are the Ghost Hunters out there.

So for me at least I guess I will ease off on my harsh criticism of the shows. Oh, I will still pick them apart for fun but that’s what they are there for, fun.

Well, I've gotten caught up on the GHI epis for this season and I think I'm going to stop recording them…they're so boring that I just don't care anymore. Without Joe Chin to make me laugh, it's not worth it. Man amazingly dull. At this rate, I'm not watching any of the shows anymore. Destination truth is the only one I find remotely interesting at this point.

Is anybody still watching GH? I stopped DVRing it a few weeks ago cause I finally got tired of hearing "Did you se that" or "Did you hear that?" for the millionth time. I stare at my wall at night and find it more interesting.

I still turn it on and will again tonight to see if things have changed. However, I have to admit that I have not been able to watch a whole episode in a long time without getting bored and turning it off.

I try and watch all of the shows as I feel I need to in order to have an educated opinion when posts about them pop up. However, I find it isn't worth the effort anymore as things are exactly the same as the previous episode.

I do watch and enjoy DT. Josh is an entertaining narrator and the locations are interesting. Although DT's attempt to help GH by getting their opinion on certain matters does undermine any credibility in my opinion but I guess they have to being from the same network.

I DVR them but only watch GH if there is something interesting for me to actually watch it. I think I have the last three episodes saved. Been watching GL and GA more than anything. Heck I just watched the episode of American Paranormal that I had DVRed back in January the other night.
