Yes. It was the first show I saw in a long time. They were acting like they spent weeks training the dog everything they knew on how to hunt ghost. They used thedog for like 10 minutes.

Yes, it is but with a few changes. Jason is wearing a full toupee and Grant shaved his head. Steve has lost his fear of heights and was actually shown bungee jumping off of Mount Rushmore. Tango then used his magician skills to make U.S. Grant dissappear off of the mount.

I hate those guys, the season I stop watching and they FINALLY become interesting? Bastages!

Can anyone advise on how to hook up a jacket so that it looks like a ghost is trying to keep me from leaving a room?

I'm not always right but I'm never wrong.

Yes – but the camera has to be set right.

You have a 'flexi' piece of plastic under your jacket … and some fish wire, five or six. One at each corner of the fleix-plastic and two or so toward the middle.

Then you have a person OFF CAMERA pulling you just enough to 'hold' you back.

Also if one has 'acting' experience it's not hard to appear you are being 'held' either from the front – 'pushed' or from the back 'pulled'. Just a good 'stumble' and go, "WTF, who just "pushed/pulled" me?"

Drama class in high school taught a lot of 'stunts' and the simple basics of acting. Plus if the camera is just off 'center' .. this too helps make it 'look' good.

I quit watching about season 2.5 to 3.0. When they 'sold' out for the "wow" effect. Basically Jason, apparently lost with the prod. in holding back calling things "Paranormal". After 2.5 – 3 he basically let's roll of his tongue way to quickly and easily.

They quit actually investigating and challenging – except when it's just too too obvious.

Also when I had a friend in the East Coast (On-line friend) tell me that they have people sign a "NON DISCLOSURE PACK" …. I went, "Huh?" From what I understand … the 'guest' who is being investigated is NOT allowed to make any private or other wise comments except those sanctified by the Producer. One person actually turned them down because of this NDP.

I understand they need to pay their bills, just like we all do .. but ya, "they sold their integrity out" in this specific field. To bad …. I really thought highly of them in the beginning.

Hey they are the preminate paranormal investigation group in America if not he world. If you don't believe me….just ask them… /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Next up on Ghost Hunters: The group investigates a really serious paranormal haunting at a San Fransisco Tatoo Parlor where the owners say that they've encounted a ghostly tatoo artist from the Aztec era wlaking through their shop. Jason, Steve and Tango each get a new tatoo in hopes of drawing out he ghostly image.

Hey .. actually Steve is so "Tatoo'd" they should just set him up in the middle of the room with only thong swimming trunks on and I bet that would either:

A. Clear the ghost out for ever ….

B. Invoke an attack … (thus clear evidence)

C. The ghost will die of shock.

The funniest thing about this thread is that it goes weeks or months without a response.

Get a nice bottle of Merlot and some warm french bread and real butter and a fire in the fire place and a blanket on the floor for your S.O. and enjoy – will wash away all bad memories and tastes.

The sad thing is – they the GH -GHI are not taken seriously anymore. They "had" a reputation (good) – but now when I see forums and threads on them in other sites … they are now seen as "sell outs" – "frauds" and such. A few forums even put them in the same league now as Fact or Fakes .. not a good place to be. That show is seen as a 'joke' and nothing more then entertainment.

GH back in season 1.0 – 2.5 were seen as credible …. past tense.

I enjoyed the first few seasons, but beyond that, meh. For me the show jumped the shark when they brought in Kris Williams although if you held my feet to the fire I'd say that the deed went down a little before that point. It seemed that they were more of an advert for the travel channel then anything else, when they started trading in avg requests for investigations that showcased locations that had gift shops. The straw that broke the camel's back was the Ft. Mifflin halloween special.

What do you get when you cross a reputable paranormal investigation group and a TV show?
