It was a old 8MM film of what was suppose to be someone being attacked by what was deemed the Michigan Dogman, although the "creature" in the film did not match the descriptions of the supposed dogman. It has been debated on paranormal forums and been on Youtube for years but was just recently admitted by the perpetrator to be a hoax. Here is a link to a story on the recent admission.

Please tell me what is the "Gable Film."

I don't know what this film is or about. I have never heard of it.

It a piece of super eight film that was purported to be from the 1970s. It showed a few glimpses of a family chopping wood, riding snowmobiles etc. The end of the film shows a creature charging the cameraman. It looks to be a very large wolf like creature. The whole thing tied into the countless Dogman sightings in the area. Search you tube if you want to view it.

This is the first time I have seen this but on MonsterQuest tonight they had the guy come forward that made the famous "Gable Film" and he showed how he did it. Many people deemed it a hoax and they were correct. I was pretty sure the second one was but was not real sure on the original one but it was. /wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
