Be on the look out for another JJ Abrams show scifi ish to be based in San Fran…not sure which channel, perhaps that TV Guide will have that info as well?

Once again I forgot to bring the TV Guide…for some reason the name Alcatraz is coming to mind…mmmmm…and I think its going to be on FOX.

I'm not always right but I'm never wrong.

And once again the show begins to irritate me. I won't say yet until people have a chance to see it…but I guess there is a reason they are doing what they are doing…but do they really need to do what they are doing? You know hat I mean Monk…at least I hope you know what I mean.

Oh and I pulled a King of Spades…that gives me a royal flush…

Well I love the fact that the Observers are back. I'd love to know if there's more to the story as to why the main Observer has such a soft spot for the Bishops. If you noticed the new GOLD colored background on the opening. I don't care for the duelling Olivias or that guy we first met as a member of Fringe on the other side. I don't know. I liked the show but this Peter bipping in and out, meh. And what exactly are the Observers up to?

Not sure what they are up to. They are on 'both' sides and I wonder if they know it. Cause it seems both sides have their alternates. It would be nice to see both sets of Observers interact. We only know how this sides Observers feel about Peter but I wonder what the other sides Observers think. At least the Observer who saved Peter all those years ago couldn't 'pull the plug.'

Maybe now that there is a steady connection between the two sides the two differant sets of Observers will go to war over who's time line is the right one.

I don't think there are two sets of the observers. I think Walter has mentioned that they are interdimensional beings but it's unclear whether or not the "alternate" universe is aware of their existance. The observers themselves are aware of events on both sides it seems.

But they did pop up on the other side and it seemed like they weren't aware of our side. Could be since they were in the Walternate side they wouldn't talk about us. Or wouldn't they……?

I remember it being explained that time is not a problem for them and there is no past presant or future for them. That they travel the whole time line at once. They are in the past and the present and the future at the same time.

Yeah I remember something like that too. One of the characters, I think Charlie, tried to simplify it by saying that they were "time travellers" but someone (Walter perhaps) said it was more complex than that. I like them, frankly, and find their oddness to be quite compelling. I get the impression that they are not allowed to interfere because of the possible consequences. The fact that they are charged with this missive indicates that perhaps they are ruled over by another greater being/entity. Could it be the people that created the doomsday machine? The old ones or ancient ones they were called. I think with the future of the series somewhat up in the air, that we should be getting some more concrete answers sooner then later. Their tech while seeming "futuristic" can be replicated by common components?? Seems a little off to me.

Not sure if this is a SPOILER!!!!

BUT……………..see below

I remember seeing Olivia telling Walter that they sent the doomsday machine back in time…

Oh really? I don't remember that, dang it.

Hey just a question, I just got "current" on this season and I have a question to ask. Didn't the alternate Broyles die/killed? When Olivia helped his son and was caught there didn't he help her escape Walternate? Then that van came over from the other side and they found the dead/decapitated Broyles in the van? Was he restored to life when the two worlds were "merged" and how is it exactly that they don't remember the adult Peter? And how do they explain the machine? The machine hasn't disappeared has it? What happened to Sam at the bowling alley? Last season they were implying that he was NOT a person to be trusted for any reason. That sort of withered and died on the vine or have they just not touched upon it yet.

Also I spotted an Observer in the back ground at the hospital when Lincoln and Olivia were walking down the hall, one moment he wasn't there and the next he was.

Yes, the alternate Broyles was killed but that was in a time line that HAD Peter in it. The Observers had Peter taken out of the "mix" so he wasn't involved in anything they did in the past 3 seasons. Everything that the 'current' people are remembering is a time line without Peter. Get it…? Except Peter wasn't removed completely which is causing his appearances to Walter and appearing in Olivia's dreams.

Whew…confusing?

So now they're "beginning" to float the 3rd (or more) universe thing. I'm thinking that Olivia's going to wind up being commandeered by one of these shape shifters, which is the usual plot angle as they are winding down a season. That's my PREDICTION.

In a way, I think this is a lazy tool for the writers as it allows them to tinker around with the existing plot lines and change things. I guess the question that needs to be asked is why isn't EVERYTHING altered and only some things effected? I'm curious about how now we don't have a clear bead on the Observers. Does this mean that Charlie is going to re-enter the picture? I preferred Charlie to Lincoln what about her original partner who betrayed them to the other side?

I have to admit that I'm still curious as to what happened to Sam the bowling guy, did I forget something from the last season? I also don't care for the acrimonious relationship between Walter and Nina Sharp. I was sort of happy at the way she was trying to bring Walter into a more active role over at Massive Dynamic. Did you notice how now they've revised her relationship with Olivia? Are they trying to say now that Nina raised her?

My fear going forward is that they're going to turn the show and plot lines into a hot mess in a hurry especially when they're now going to back track to plot lines that we the viewer already KNOW about (ie: the Observers)…

I don't thin there is going to be a third universe angle. This is just the same one that was altered cause the Observers took Peter out. And then he was not completely allowed to leave because the Observer who saved him years ago stepped in.

What I think is the present way the Universe is, is the way it was suppose to be…with no one knowing Peter because he was suppose to have died by drowning in the lake. But the Observer broke protocal back then and saved him with Walter thus changing the time line then. By taking him out of the time line at the end of last season it reset things to the way it was suppose to be.

Oh and the interactions between the two universers still would have happened because Walter still went over to get the alternate Peter to save him. But he 'died' because theObserver didn't save them (him).

Season ending: With the help of the Observer who helped him, Peter hooks himself back up to "The Machine" to reset time. That will start a war among the Observers for control of time.

Looks like THE Observer is returning, the one who saved Peter back in the day.

Also, isn't it great to see Nina still up to her old tricks? But I wonder what they juiced Olivia up with. Is it the Cortexifan or something else. What was the purpose of doing that. Is this a subtle way to keep her under control? Is that why she had to renew the medicine at the pharmacy?

Now was Nina always that nasty? I know she was secrative in the first season but that was when Bell was still 'alive.' then she came around to being nice sort of. You have to remember that this is the right timeline as far as the Observers are concerned because Peter was allowed to drown. So every one is kind of messed up. Kind of shows you how one person can effect so many people.
